ISRO/ VSSC offers limited numbers of opportunities for Internship and Final Year Academic Project work for young academic students undergoing courses in the disciplines of Science and Technology.

General Instructions for Internship Applicants:
1. The candidate should be a citizen of India.
2. Students who have pursued or pursuing courses in the disciplines of Science/Technology, which are relevant to DoS/ISRO Programmes alone, will be considered.
3) The number of students selected for internship may vary due to facility constraints. It is the prerogative of VSSC to accept/reject the application.
4) On account of large number of applications received for internship, it may not be possible to accommodate all the applicants. It is advised to identify other organizations also as an alternative, in the event of the application not getting through in the selection process.
5) A student will be allowed to pursue only one internship for each degree course.
6) The student shall be permitted to carry out internship only at the “Unclassified Areas of VSSC/ISRO”
7) Eligibility for applying to Internship is an aggregate mark of minimum 60 % or CGPA 6.32 on a scale of 10
8) Internship is offered to students from a recognized University/ Institution (India/Abroad) who are

i. enrolled and pursuing regular on- campus courses
ii. Completed course as a regular on-campus student within six months prior to the opening date of the application window9)

10) Minimum criteria for applying for internship at VSSC is given in table below

13) Any other relevant information including educational qualifications/mark lists, previous internship/project done (if any), technical skills, area of interest, work experience (if any) etc can be uploaded in Supporting information as a single pdf (max size 5 MB.)

14) The selected students will be intimated by mail.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least one hour before scheduled time on the date of Interview for verification of certificates. No entry / registration will be entertained after 10.00 A.M.
  2. Candidates having more than one eligible qualification shall have to choose only one for selection process.
  3. The position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis till the termination of the scheme or as per the need, whichever is earlier. Duration of engagement can be curtailed / extended as per need and subject to performance of the candidate.
  4. Already employed candidates should provide NOC from their present employer, failing which, they will not be allowed to attend Walk-in-Interview.
  5. The candidate should bring hard copy of duly filled in application form with self-attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications and experience certificate(s), if any, with Original documents along with a latest passport-size Photograph along with, at the time of interview.
  6. Non-production of any of original certificates for verification at the time of Interview is liable to rejection of candidature. Any candidate who has deposited original certificates with the College / University / Employer should produce Custodian Certificate.
  7. The appointment of selected candidate will be subject to the condition that he / she is declared medically fit for service by the prescribed Medical Authority.
  8. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
  9. If the turnover for walk-in-interview is more, the Academy may consider to extend the date of interview for the next day and also to have a written screening test.
  10. Candidates are required to make the food arrangements on their own.
