School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following Faculty Positions on Direct Recruitment Basis:

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Candidates may download the application form from our website spav.ac.in .
  • The pay and allowances for the posts advertised will be as per the 7th CPC scales applicable to Central Government employees and carry other allowances like House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and Children’s Educational Allowance and eligible for other benefits like Medical, LTC etc., as per Govt of India Rules issued from time to time and as applicable for SPA, Vijayawada.
  • These positions are governed   by New Pension Scheme of GoI applicable w.e.f.01.01.2004.
  • The Faculty selected for the above posts will be governed by the CCS Conduct Rules, CCS CCA Rules, other Rules and Regulations issued by the GoI from time to time and as per the SPA Act 2014 and SPA Statutes 2016.
  • The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the No. of posts or not to make any recruitment to any post/s, to shortlist candidates for interview and to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
  • The prescribed essential qualifications / experience indicated are bare minimum and mere possession of the same will not entitle the candidates to be called for written test / interview. When number of applications received towards an advertisement is large, the Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for written test / interview on the basis of merit or qualification higher than that of minimum prescribed in the advertisement or by conducting test. The candidates should therefore furnish details of all qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed along with documentary evidences.
  • The qualifications prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities/ Institutions. UG and PG qualifications obtained from foreign degrees must be supported with foreign degree Equivalence Certificate from All India Universities, Min of Education, Govt. of India. The decision of the Committee constituted by SPAV for equivalence of Ph.D. shall be final.
  • Reservation for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwD/EWS etc., will be as per Govt. of India norms against the reserved vacancies only. The benefit shall be given on submission of relevant certificates in the format prescribed by Govt. of India. Incomplete application in the particular category will not be considered.

The candidates who are in the Central list of OBC -Creamy layer shall only apply for the post reserved for OBC. If at any stage, it is found that the OBC certificate is not valid, the appointment shall be terminated with immediate effect.

  • Persons serving in Govt./Semi-government / PSU / Autonomous bodies / Govt. funded Institutions / Universities are required to upload “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer. They are required to produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview, without which his/her candidature will not be considered.
  • No TA & Accommodation will be provided for attending the written test and interviews.
  • No interim queries / correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence, political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
  • Self-Attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials etc., are to be uploaded alongwith the application w.r.t their age, experience and educational qualifications. Incomplete applications and not accompanied by supporting certificates / documents along with payment receipt/ after the last date will be summarily rejected. The original documents will be verified at the time of Interview/written examination.
  • Candidates applying for the positions, in the Dept. of Architecture should be registered with Council of Architecture and produce a copy of the certificate with validity.
  • Candidates applying for more than one post are required to submit the application alongwith supporting documents and make remittance fee separately each time.
  • The qualification and experience will be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of application as given in the advertisement.
    • Application fee Rs.1,000/­-
    • SC/ST/PwD/Women are exempted from payment of application fee.
    • Application fee needs to be paid online through SBI collect; (https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm). The reference number should be filled in the application form along with the copy of the receipt.

In case the candidates are not in a position to make fee payment through online mode they may submit a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada” payable at Vijayawada.

Skills Strengthening of Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) Project in State of Andhra Pradesh

  • Objective of the scheme is to improve the relevance and efficiency of skills Training provided through Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and Apprenticeships, duly upgrading the infrastructure, equipment and machinery.
  • STRIVE is a Central Sector Scheme with no State Contribution, assisted by World Bank.
  • It is a 5 Year Project , closing by November 2022.
  • STRIVE Scheme has four result areas.
  • Result Area 1 – Improved Performance of ITIs
  • Result Area 2 – Increased Capacities of State Governments to support ITIs and Apprenticeship Training
  • Result Area 3 – Improved Teaching and Learning
  • Result Area 4 – Improved and Broadened Apprenticeship Training.
  • 15 Govt. ITIs have been selected under the scheme and Institute Management Committees are also constituted in these ITIs.
  • Govt. of A.P have made an Agreement (Performance Based Fund Agreement ) with Govt. of India in Feb 2019 accepting terms and Conditions of the Project.

Project Name: Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and related Technology)

Work Theme: GNC Algorithms & Simulation

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India has entrusted IIITDM Kurnool as Participating Institute for the project entitled “Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and related Technology)” under the Work Theme GNC Algorithms & Simulation

The primary objective of the project is to leverage collaborative activities in human resource development through capacity building in education and training in the area of UAS. The project is conceived to achieve the following broad objectives: i. To enhance capacity & capabilities of select institutions in identified WTs on Unmanned Aircraft Systems. ii. To institutionalize a collaborative ecosystem through identified Resource Centres (RCs) and Participating Institutions (PIs) for synergy of capabilities & expertise. iii. To foster development of competent human resources at various levels including Postgraduate & Graduate programs, PG Diploma/Certificate programs, Faculty Updation and Master Trainers in niche areas of UAS. iv. To promote entrepreneurial mindset and nurture technical talent among the student community through innovative interventions such as Bootcamps and Proof-of Concepts. v. To nurture technical talent and ideation among the student community through IPR generation, Competitions, Workshops / Conferences, etc.

To set up PI and drive the Bootcamps and other non-formal programmes, the PI-IIITDM Kurnool is looking for dynamic and result oriented and full-time person(s) for the following temporary positions:

Desirable Degree(s) & Work Experience:

First class M. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent is preferred with focus on UAS Development and / GNC related projects and at least 1 year of relevant experience

Tenure of appointment: Initially appointment is for one year and renewed further based on the performance and project requirements. The appointment is purely contractual, and project based.

  1. Mode of Selection: The selection process consists of written test/Interview or both.
  2. Instructions to the Applicants:
    1. The posts are on purely temporary basis.
    2. Candidates are required to carefully go through the details of qualifications, experience, and instructions available on the Institute website.
