Details of Posts/Qualifications:
Post: JRF/Project Assistant-II: 2 Posts

Qualification:
JRF: M.Sc. (Chemistry) and CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE qualified.
Project Assistant-II: M.Sc. (Chemistry) with at least 55% marks.

Job requirement: Preparations of nanoparticle embedded polymer membranes for water splitting and hydrogen production by membrane electrolysis. Computer knowledge is essential.

Fellowship:
JRF: Rs. 25000/ + HRA (As per CSIR/CSMCRI rule).
Project Assistant-II: Rs. 25000/ fixed.

Age:
JRF: Should not be more than 28 years on 06th July, 2018.
Project Assistant-II: Should not be more than 30 years on 06th July, 2018.

Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rule.

Duration: One year or completion of the project, whichever will earlier.

Essential Educational Qualification and Experience:

For the post of Scientist: ME/M.Tech. or Ph.D (Submitted) in the area of Mechanical Engineering ; for the post of Senior Scientist: ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years experience or Ph. D. in the above areas.

Post No. 6 : Civil Engineer (Pay Band – 3 ) (Reserved for OBC).

D. in the area of Chemistry/Material Science (submitted) with research in analytical method development; for the post of Senior Scientist: Ph. D. in the area of Chemistry/Material Science with minimum additional 2 years research experience in analytical method development.

Post No. 9 : Scientist – Science Dissemination in Hindi (Pay Band – 3) (Reserved for ST).

Essential Educational Qualification and Experience:

For the post of Scientist: ME/M.Tech. or Ph.D (Submitted) in science stream; for the post of Senior Scientist: ME/M.Tech with 3 years experience or Ph. D. (Engg.) or Ph. D. in science stream with 2 years experience. Candidates who apply must have a flair for scientific communication both in Hindi and English.

Qualification:

Essential qualifications-

(2 Posts) Diploma (50%  in qualifying examination) in Civil Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical engineering/ Power Engineer/Electrical / Electronics Engineer

Desirable: Knowledge of Autocad and other software’s will be an added advantage. Job Requirement: Knowledge and interpretation of results from solar photovoltaic systems, designing of tracking circuits for solar gadgets. Application of solar system in mass cultivation of microalgae. Development of indigenous mathematical model for gadgets related to renewable energy, data generation and validation. Design and fabrication of gadgets related to renewable energy.

Essential qualifications- (1 Post) Second Class (50% in qualifying examination) in M.Sc. Microbiology

Desirable: candidates having laboratory experience will be preferred.

Job Requirement: Isolation and screening of microbes for production of biopolymers.

Age limit: Age limit for Project assistant at level I/III should not be more than 25/28/32 years respectively as on the date of interview. However, upper age limit may be relaxed as per CSIR rules for the SC/ ST/ OBC/ Handicapped candidates.
