Gujarat Technological University (G.T.U) invites applications for contract based (for 6 months) Assistant Professor UPR/Patents), Research Assistant (IPR), Research Assistant (Pharmacy), Computer Programmer, Network Administrator & Database Administrator. Assistant Professor (IPR/Patents)
Minimum Qualification:
1. M. Pharm /ME /M. Tech, with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master’s Degree.
2. PG Diploma in IPR from any recognized University.
3. Minimum 1 year experience in the field of IPR/Patents.
Desirable:
• Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
• Patents applied/Published/Granted.
• CCC+
Age: Not more than 40 years.
Salary: Rs.35,000/- fixed p.m.

Research Assistant (IPR)
Minimum Qualification:
1. M. Pharm /ME /M. Tech, with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master’s Degree.
2. Minimum 1 year experience in the field of IPR/Patents.
Desirable:
• PG Diploma in IPR from any recognized University.
• Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
• Patents applied/Published/Granted.
Age: Not more than 40 years.
Salary: Rs.20,000/- fixed p.m.

Research Assistant (Pharmacy)
Minimum Qualification: M. Pharm, with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master Degree.
Desirable: Research paper, Patents applied/Published/Granted.
Age: Not more than 40 years.
Salary: Rs.20,000/- fixed p.m.

Computer Programmer
Minimum Qualification: First Class in B.E. Computer Eng. / Computer Science/ Information Technology, or First Class in MCA.

Minimum 3 Years’ Experience in following:
• Experience in .NET and MS-SQL.
• Experience in Computer software & other comparable experience in office automation / e-governance / ERP / Networking.
• Expected to join as team member with focus on networking and planning for different aspects of GTU infrastructure.
• The applicant should have exposure/ aptitude in more than one of the following broad areas:
• Programming in ASP. NET with SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Network/ Distributed/ Web based applications and their security.
• Familiarity with hardware platforms and knowledge about Hardware OS interaction.
• Open Source software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Develop document and conduct technical training sessions for end users
All Degrees shall be from recognized University / Institution with minimum First Class.
Age: Not more than 35 years.
Salary: Rs.30000/- fixed p.m.

Network Administrator
Minimum Qualification:
1. MCA First Class/BE Computer with First Class.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator.

Database Administrator

1. MCA First Class /BE Computer with First Class.

1. Oracle ERP Apps Financials functional 1 UR

Qualification:

CA / ICWA with 60 % marks in Graduation.

Minimum 2 years post qualification experience. Should be working for the last 1 year, on development / implementation of Oracle financials (GP, AP, AR and FA).

2.Programmer: Oracle ERP Apps Financials Technical 2 Sc 1 UR 1

Qualification:

Regular full time MCA degree (with BCA, B.Com. Or B.Sc.) or BE / B.Tech.(CS/IT) with 60% marks in Graduation

Minimum 2 years post qualification experience. Should be working for the last 2 years, as Oracle ERP Apps Financials Technical in development / implementation of Oracle ERP Apps Financials (Forms & report development, Customization & implementation).

3.Programmer (.net applications) 1 ST

Qualification:

Regular full time MCA degree (with BCA, B.Com. Or B.Sc.) or BE / B.Tech.(CS/IT) with 60% marks in Graduation

Minimum 2 years post qualification experience. Should be working for 2 years in software development in the .net platform using C#, AJAX, Web services, Java scripting with back end Oracle/MS SQL Server database.

4. Oracle database Administrator 1  UR

Qualification:

Regular full time MCA degree (with BCA, B.Com. Or B.Sc.) or BE /B.Tech.(CS/IT) with 60% marks in Graduation. Must have Oracle certification in Oracle Database Administration.

Minimum 2 years post qualification experience. Should be working presently, at least for the last 2 years, in Oracle Database administration on Oracle
9i or 10g including configuration, performance tuning, maintenance of back up, Restore, Storage and Disaster Recover setup etc.

Maximum age limit 30 years

Officer (Technical) (E2)  3 UR-2 ST-1 PWD-1 (could be of any category)

Qualification:

BE / B.Tech. (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics & Communication) with min. 60% marks. & MBA (Finance)

Minimum 1 year post qualification experience in Power Sector / Infrastructure Financing Company.

Jr. Accountant (S1) 8 UR-4 ST-1 OBC (NCL)-3 PWD-1 (could be of any category)

Qualification:
M.Com. with 70% marks (Candidate with higher qualification would not be considered for this post.)
Minimum 10 years post qualification experience. Must have experience in Financial sector. Knowledge of computer (MS Word and Excel) is essential.

Translator (Hindi) (W7) 1 OBC (NCL)

Qualification:

Post graduation in Hindi / English as an elective subject of English/Hindi and a degree/diploma in translation (Hindi to English and vice versa).
Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in central/Govt. dept./PSUs relating to translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa. Preference shall be given to candidates having experience of translation of technical and financial documents.
