The National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai invites applications from suitable candidates for Registrar and Executive Engineer.

Vacancies:

Registrar:

In the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600 (on Lien vacancy for 1 year) plus other allowances admissible to Central Government employees stationed at Mumbai. In addition, unfurnished residential accommodation free of licence fee will be provided in the Institute Campus. He/She will be eligible for Pension, Gratuity, GPF (if applicable), LTC, Leave, etc. as perthe rules of the Institute.

Post-Graduate Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce / Engineering / Technology / Public Administration / Management of a recognised Institute / University or its equivalent or recognised qualification as Chartered Accountant / ICWA with at least 55% marks or its equivalent.

Qualification:

Essential : Minimum 15 years of administrative experience preferably in a Government/Educational or Research Institute. Out of this, at least 8 years should be in a responsible position in Training/Educational Institutions of higher learning. The candidate would be expected to have adequate grasp of financial matters, secretarial experience of statutory bodies and committees, and familiarity with academic activities and working procedures in higher learning Institutions.

Desirable : Experience of campus management, other aspects of administration and familiarity with Computer. Suitable relaxation may be made in case of candidates with specialised experience.

Executive Engineer:

Qualification and Experience:

Graduate in Civil/Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years experience in supervisory cadre like Assistant / Junior Engineer in reputed organizations, preferably public sector undertakings / Govt. Departments. Considerable experience in Contract Administration, Estate Management including construction of buildings, roads, maintenance of water supply, drainage, electrical installations and design work, etc. He / She should be proficient to deal with land matters and encroachments.

He / She will be required to stay in the Campus for which accommodation will be provided on payment of licence fee and other charges as per rules of the Institute. Conditions may be relaxed for exceptionally outstanding candidates.

Eligible candidates will be called for interview as per recommendations of the Screening Committee constituted for this purpose. Fulfillment of minimum qualification is not a claim for interview call. The Institute reserves the right to reject any/ all applications without assigning any reason.

(1) Essential qualification :- (i) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale OR Chartered Accountant with 55% marks in graduation (ii) Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs.6000/- and above with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or educational institutions of higher education OR total 5 years of experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post. (2) Terms and conditions of deputation will be as per the Govt. of India norms. (3) *The selection to the Post of Deputy Registrar will be on Regular/deputation/contract basis and will be provisional subject to the disposal of W.P. No. 11552/2008 filed in M.P. (4) Desirable qualification :- (i) Experience in Finance and Accounts /Audit / Purchase & Stores in a responsible position. (1) Essential qualification :-A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade. (ii) A minimum of 08 years experience in Planning, Design, Construction and maintenance of Civil Engineering Projects and civil contract management. Out of the above at least 04 years experience should be at the level of Assistant Engineer or equivalent OR at least 15 years of total experience in Planning, Design, Construction and Maintenance of Civil Engineering Projects and Civil Contract Management. (2) Desirable qualification : Experience of work in a Govt organization with knowledge of CPWD procedures in the capacity of Junior Engineer/Asstt. Engineer or equivalent.

(3) Age : Upto 45 Years

(1) Essential qualification :- Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 pt scale along with a good academic record OR Chartered Accountant with 55% marks in graduation. (2) Desirable qualification :- (i) Experience in Finance and Accounts /Audit / Purchase & stores in a supervisory capacity.
