ISRO/ VSSC offers limited numbers of opportunities for Internship and Final Year Academic Project work for young academic students undergoing courses in the disciplines of Science and Technology.

CURRENT INTERNSHIP SLOT:
INT 07 – 01st May 2026 to 31st July 2026

General Instructions for Internship Applicants:
1. The candidate should be a citizen of India.
2. Students who have pursued or pursuing courses in the disciplines of Science/Technology, which are relevant to DoS/ISRO Programmes alone, will be considered.
3) The number of students selected for internship may vary due to facility constraints. It is the prerogative of VSSC to accept/reject the application.
4) On account of large number of applications received for internship, it may not be possible to accommodate all the applicants. It is advised to identify other organizations also as an alternative, in the event of the application not getting through in the selection process.
5) A student will be allowed to pursue only one internship for each degree course.
6) The student shall be permitted to carry out internship only at the “Unclassified Areas of VSSC/ISRO”
7) Eligibility for applying to Internship is an aggregate mark of minimum 60 % or CGPA 6.32 on a scale of 10
8) Internship is offered to students from a recognized University/ Institution (India/Abroad) who are

i. enrolled and pursuing regular on- campus courses
ii. Completed course as a regular on-campus student within six months prior to the opening date of the application window9)

10) Minimum criteria for applying for internship at VSSC is given in table below

Course Should have Completed Aggregate mark of minimum 60 % or CGPA 6.32 on a scale of 10
BE/B Tech/B Sc (Phy/Chem)/ Integrated M Sc/BS-MS (Phy/Chem)/Integrated MTech 4th semester at the time of applying Marks upto Previous Semester
ME/M Tech/M Sc 1st semester at the time of applying Mark of Qualifying Degree (BE/B.Tech/BSc)
Ph D Course work Mark of Qualifying Degree (ME/M Tech/M Sc/BE/B Tech or equivalent)

11) No stipend/remuneration/financial assistance will be given by VSSC/ISRO during the period of internship.

12) The duration of the Internship will be minimum of 21 days and maximum of 45 days.

13) Any other relevant information including educational qualifications/mark lists, previous internship/project done (if any), technical skills, area of interest, work experience (if any) etc can be uploaded in Supporting information as a single pdf (max size 5 MB.)

14) The selected students will be intimated by mail.

RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANTS

Indian Space Research Organisation [ISRO] of the Department of Space [DOS] is looking for young, dynamic and dedicated candidates for filling-up the posts of ASSISTANTS (administrative support staff) in the Pay Band of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2,400/- for filling-up in various ISRO Centres/Units, across India.

How to Apply : The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 17-07-2014 and 07-08-2014. Candidates may visit our web-site at www.isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line between 17-07-2014 and 07-08-2014. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be provided in the application CORRECTLY and compulsorily. For those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, the on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, duly indicating the name and Reg. No. on the reverse.

Application Fee: There will be an Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only). Women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

Educational Qualification: Graduation in Arts/Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class, as declared by the University.
WITH
Knowledge in the use of Computers. (The prescribed qualification to be acquired on or before 07/08/2014)

Age Limit: 18 – 26 years as on 07-08-2014 (31 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 29 years for OBC candidates. Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried; Meritorious Sportspersons are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.)

Selection Process :The qualification prescribed is the MINUMUM requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible to take-up the written test. Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted and a higher cut-off percentage may be adopted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test. The written test will be conducted on 12-10-2014 [Sunday] at seven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.

Indian Space Research Organisation [ISRO] of the Department of Space [DOS] is looking for young, dynamic and dedicated administrative support staff in the categories of Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant.

Name of the Posts:

1. Assistants: 324 Posts

Qualification:

Graduation in Arts/Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class as declared by the University.

Knowledge in the use of Computers.

2. Junior Personal Assistants: 226 Posts

Qualification:

Graduation in Arts/ Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class as declared by the University.

    OR

Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial practice with First Class with one year experience as Steno-typist/ Stenographer

    AND

A minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Stenography.

Selection Process:

Based on bio-data, initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test.

Candidates short-listed based on the performance in the written test /skill test (wherever applicable) will be called for interview, the schedule and venue of which will be intimated in due course.

Indian Space Research Organisation November 2011 Notification for Technical Assistants and Technicians

  Indian space programme was institutionalized in 1969 with the formation of Indian Space Research Organisation [ISRO]. Indian space programme is aimed at promoting the development and application of space science and technology for the socio-economic benefit of the country and also providing valuable service to the Nation in a self reliant manner.

Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) is the lead Centre in the area of Liquid Propulsion for ISRO’s Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft programmes. Research and development of Earth Storable, Cryogenic and Semicryogenic propulsion and delivery of Engines, Stages, Associated Control Systems and Components for Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft programmes of ISRO are the main responsibilities of the Centre with its units at Valiamala near Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore in Karnataka and Mahendragiri in Tamilnadu.
