WANTED

Applications are invited for filling up the following posts in the above said College / Institute.
1. Dean / Principal
2. Professor
3. Reader
4. Lecturer
5. Tutor / Demonst.

Qualification & Experience

Dean / Principal:
a) Recognised post graduate medical qualification and other academic qualification from a recognised institution
b) Minimum of ten years teaching experience as Professor / Associate Professor / Reader in a Medical College / institution. Out of which atleast five years should be as Professor in a department, Preference for these appointments may be given to the HODs.

Professor:
a) Recognized post graduate degree medical qualification in the concerned subject.
b) As Associate Professor in the subject concerned for three years in recognized medical college.
c) Four Research papers accepted/published in index/national journal as first/second author on cumulative basis. Out of these four research publications minimum two research publication must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.

Associate Professor /Reader:
Post graduate degree in the subject with five years teaching / research experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in recognized Medical College. OR
a) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject.
b) Four years teaching experience as a Lecturer/Asst. Prof. in recognised Medical College.
c) Minimum of two research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the journals by the National Associations / Societies of the respective specialities as the First Author. Further provided that the requirement of 2 research publications for promotion to the post of Associate Professor should be fulfilled with 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor

Assistant Professor / Lecturer
a) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject.
b) Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Medical College as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor

Tutor / Demonst:
M.B.B.S. qualification or M. Sc. ( Medical Anatomy ) in particular subject as specified by M.C.I. candidate possessing post graduate qualification in subject will be preferred.

Application along-with attested copies of all relevant Certificates must reach to the college on or before: 18/07/2014 (Exact date is to be specified) (Minimum 14 days (as per Direction No. 02/2014) from the date of publication of advertisement in newspaper.)
