EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Sl.No.1: Category-I, Stipendiary Trainee Scientific Assistant (HEALTH PHYSICS)

B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Chemistry as principal and Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.

Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential.

Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible

Shall have English as one of the subjects either at SSC/SSLC or HSC level examinations.

Sl.No.2: SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT-B (MECHANICAL)

Diploma in Engineering. [3 years after S.S.C]

OR

HSC + 2 years Diploma course in Engineering (Approved by AICTE). Diploma should be in Mechanical Discipline with 60% or above marks.

Shall have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC/SSLC or HSC level examinations.

AGE LIMIT

RELAXATION IN UPPER AGE LIMIT
(a) Relaxation of 10 years for GENERAL-PWDs category, 13 years for OBC-PWDs category, 15 years for SC-PWDs category shall be given and for Ex-Servicemen PWDs category candidate’s relaxation as per category + Service Period + 3years.
(b) Age limit up to 5 years commensurate with experience of working with NPCIL will be given to the Contract Employees.
(c) NPCIL employees applying against open advertisement for direct recruitment will be considered without any age restriction.
(d) The upper age limit in the case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried shall be relaxed up to age of 35 years (40 years for member of SC/STs) + relaxation applicable for PWD candidate, subject to production of a certified copy of the judgement/decree of the appropriate court to prove the fact of divorce or the judicial separation, as the case may be.
Note: all the above relaxation is subject to the condition that maximum age of the applicant shall not exceed 56 years.

Qualifications: Essential: Educational: First or Second Class Graduate.
3. Junior Stenographer – Seven Posts (UR) – (One post Reserved for PH (Locomotive Disability or Cerebral Palsy) and 2 posts Reserved for Ex-Servicemen) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 2400 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: SSLC or equivalent with 100 words per minute in Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typewriting.
4. Junior Auditor – One Post (UR), (Reserved for Ex-Servicemen only) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 2400 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: A Degree from a recognized University with two years experience in the accounts branch of a public or private sector under taking.
5. Lower Division Clerk – Two Posts (UR) (Reserved for Ex-Servicemen only) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 25 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: SSLC or equivalent. 30 w.p.m. in typewriting essential.

Qualifications: Essential: Educational: SSLC or equivalent. A pass in the Advanced Training Course conducted by the National Coir Training and Design Centre.
8. Machine Operator – Three Posts-(UR), (One post Reserved for Ex-Servicemen) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date of receipt of
application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: ITI certificate (Electrician or Fitter)
9. Helper (Dyeing) – One post -(UR), In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 1800 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: “A pass in the Training Course of not less than six months duration conducted by the National Coir Training and Design Centre, with three years experience in dyeing”.

• Application Fee: The application fee for the Post at Sl.No.l & 2 will be Rs.100/- and Sl.No.3 to 9 will be Rs.50/-. No fee is payable by SC, ST, PwD, Ex-servicemen and female candidates. The fee is to be remitted in the form of Demand Draft only drawn on any Bank, payable at Ernakulam in favour of Secretary, Coir Board, Kochi.
• Mode of selection: The selection will be on the basis of a Written Examination and Interview. The selected candidates will be posted suitably and they are liable to be transferred to anywhere in India where the Board’s Offices exist.
