Goa Public Service Commission November 2011 Notification for Various Posts

Goa Public Service Commission invites applications for the following posts:

I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE

1. Lecturer in Radiology … 2 posts (1 resvd for ST)

Educational & Other Qualifications

Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent. (iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/ Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Medical Officer (Blood Bank) – 1 post (resvd for PH)

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (Medico-Cirurgiao). (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Professional experience. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

II. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES

3. Junior Consultants:
(i) Radiologist — 1 post (2nd time)
(ii) Pathologist — 3 posts (1 resvd for OBC)
(iii) Surgeon — 4 posts (1 resvd for OBC)

Educational & Other Qualifications:
Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned.
(iii) In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi

4. Medical Officer-36 posts (1 resvd for SC, 4 resvd for ST, 1 resvd
for PH, 6 resvd for OBC and 1 resvd for CFF)

Essential: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (Medico-Cirurgiao).
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i) Experience in the general medical practice or the concerned speciality as the case may be. ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

DIRECTORATE OF INDUSTRIES TRADE & COMMERCE

5. Planning Officer-1 post

Educational & other qualification: –

Essential: (i)Master’s Degree in Economics of a recognised University. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: (i)Post-graduate degree in Business Management. (ii)Knowledge
of Marathi.

DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION

6. Teacher Grade-I/A.D.E.I.-8 posts (1 resvd for ST, 1 resvd for OBC, 1 resvd for PH, 2 resvd Ex. Servicemen & 1 resvd for CFF)

Economics — 1 post
Biology — 2 posts
Physics —1 post
Konkani — 1 post
Marathi —1 post
Maths —1 post
Urdu — 1 post

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential: i) M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. or equivalent post graduate degree from recognised University. ii) Degree in Teaching/Education. (Qualifications at (ii) is relaxable at the time of initial appointment but they will be declared to have satisfactorily completed the probation period only if they acquire the said qualifications at their own cost.)

iii) Proficiency in the medium of instruction (applicable for teaching posts).

iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: i) Knowledge of Marathi.

DIRECTORATE OF AGRICULTURE

7. Assistant Agricultural Officers -4 Posts (1 resvd for ST & 1 resvd for OBC)

Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential:- (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from a
recognised University. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable:- (i) 3 years experience in Agriculture/Horticulture.
(ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
