EV Narsimha Reddy, Secretary of the School Education Department, said that it was posted on the website on Thursday night. These exams are being conducted online from 18th of this month to 5th of August. People can download from https://tsdsc.aptonline.in/tsdsc/Hallticket. A total of 2.79 lakh applications have
been made for 11,062 teacher posts across the state of Telangana. Education department sources said that this is the second DSC to be conducted in the state after July 2017
after seven years.
Candidates can apply for D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) and D.P.S.E. (Diploma in Pre-School Education) through TG DEECET-2024 through computer based test (online mode) for admission into two year course in Govt. DIETs / Private un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (including Minority and Non-Minority) in the State of Telangana for the Batch 2024-26. For further details, the candidates are requested to visit https://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in. Online applications can be submitted from 08.06.2024 to 30.06.2024.
Eligibility Criteria for admission:
A. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
B. The candidates should satisfy the Local / Non Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended from time to time
C. Candidates should have secured a rank in TG DEECET- 2024 and should satisfy the educational qualifications as shown at 5(D) below for allotment of Seats in Government DIETs and Category ‘A’ and ‘B’ seats in Private Elementary Teacher Education Institutions. For obtaining a rank, candidate belonging to “OC” and “BC” Communities shall secure 35% marks in TG DEECET. For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories. That is to say, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Communities should secure 35% of marks for consideration against seats under OC/ NCC / Defense Personnel or their children and spouses / Sports category.
Educational Qualifications: For all seats in all Government DIETs and Private Un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions:
a. The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the TG DEECET Committee for appearing at the TG DEECET 2024. However, she / he should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
b. The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing at the TG DEECET 2024. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45%.
Age: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed /D.P.S.E. Programme.
NOTE: As per G.O.Ms.NO.10 Education dated 12.04.2017 the candidates who passed Intermediate examination with Vocational courses(S) are not eligible.
Rule of reservation: Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be unreserved as specified in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974 as amended from time to time. The definition of ‘Local Candidate’ is as given below
Test Centers of TGDEECET 2024: The TGDEECET 2024 shall be conducted ‘ONLINE’ in the 10 erstwhile districts on 10.07.2024. Candidates may give the preferential order of the centers. However, allotment of centers shall be the discretion of the department and request for change of test centers or sessions is not allowed under any circumstances.
Fee: The fee towards submission of application online and for appearing at the TGDEECET 2024 online is Rs.500/-. Candidates shall pay the fee through the Payment Gateway provided on https://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in from 08.06.2024 to 30.06.2024 and submit online application at the TGDEECET – 2024 website https://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in from 08.06.2024 to 30.06.2024
Telangana LawCET-2024 Preliminary Key is released. Candidates who have written the exam can download the question paper and key from the official website. Objections on the preliminary key should be submitted online by June 7th. It is known that Telangana LawCET was conducted on June 3rd. Admissions to Law courses are through LawCET.

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for admission to the 5-year Integrated M.Sc. programme in basic sciences – Biology. Chemistry. Mathematics and Physics-at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. NEST 2020 will be conducted in around 90 towns and cities all over India on Saturday, June 06,2020.
The candidates admitted to the programme are eligible to receive annual scholarship of Rs 60,000 through DISHA program of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. In addition, the scholarship recipients receive grant of Rs 20,000 per annum for summer internship. Candidates selected by DST for the INSPIRE-SHE program are endorsed for INSPIRE scholarship by NISER and CEBS.
