Notification For Recruitment Of Security Assistants in Intelligence Bureau

On line applications are invited for direct recruitment to the post of Security Assistant (Executive), General Central Service, (Group-C) Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the following Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India.

No Of Posts:

Security Assistant: 410 Nos

Eligibility Conditions:

 (A)         Essential: (i)- Matriculation(Class X) or equivalent from a recognized Board.

                                          (ii)– Knowledge of local language/Dialect as specified above against each SIBx/centres of examination.

(B)   Desirable: Field Experience in intelligence work.

Age:  Not exceeding 27 years as on closing date of application. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC, Ex-Serviceman as per Government of India rules.

Selection Procedure: The candidates who come up to a specific standard following a preliminary screening of applications based on knowledge of the local language(s) of the SIBx/Centre concerned, academic qualification, marks obtained in the examinations and depending upon the number of vacancies, would be called for an Objective Type test on General Knowledge, Current awareness, aptitude, reasoning, general arithmetic and English of 100 marks to be held at the respective centres of examination where the candidate have applied for. Those candidates who meet specific standard in the objective type test will be further called for local language test (50 marks) and personality test (50 marks).

The Objective type would be held on a common day for all the centres of examination and hence the candidates should apply for the vacancies of a SIB, depending upon their knowledge of the local Language/Dialect mentioned against it in table ‘A’ above. Application submitted for more than one SIBx/Centre would be rejected.

How to apply:- (i)- Applications can be submitted only through ON-LINE registration mode. Applications sent by any other mode will not be accepted.
