Results of State Eligibility Test (SET) – TS & AP – 2014 Exam

Osmania_UniversityToday, Osmania University released the results of State Eligibility Test (SET) for Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh (SET-TS & AP – 2014) for Assistant Professor/Lectureship held on 15th February, 2015 subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions. The results of SET-TS & AP -2014 have been finalized as per the guidelines of UGC, New Delhi and these results were scrutinized and approved by the Moderation Committee and Steering Committee of SET -TS & AP – 2014.


The Moderation and Steering Committees of SET – TS & AP-2014 have carefully gone through the procedure and criteria set by the UGC, New Delhi for the finalization of result as follows;

Step-I: Minimum marks to be obtained in SET-TS & AP-2014 for considering a candidate for the eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lectureship:

The candidates are required to obtain following minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper- II and Paper-III as given below:

Step-II: Amongst those candidates who have cleared Step-I, a merit list was prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.

Step-III: Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under Step-II, was declared SET – TS & AP-2014 qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lectureship only. By this method, if the number obtained is less than one, it is taken as at least one, i.e. a minimum of one candidate is qualified wherever a fraction less than one is obtained as per this methodology. However, for fractions greater than one, the figure is rounded off to nearest whole number.
