NOTICE FOR WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

The Institute invites eligible and interested candidates to appear in the Walk-in-Interview on the dates indicated against the posts on purely contractual basis without any right or likelihood of permanent appointment for the following positions for a period of ten months for teaching staff and one year for non-teaching staff, as the case may be depending upon actual requirement based on running the courses:

1. Assistant Professor – 10 Posts

Minimum Qualification: Master Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of marks with specialization in any of the disciplines of following:
Athletics, Handball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Gymnastics, Judo, Hockey, Swimming, Yoga, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Boxing, Kayaking and Canoeing, Archery, Tennis, weight lifting.
NET/ Ph.D./M.Phil.

2. Coach – 4 Posts

Minimum Qualification:
1. Master Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of marks.

2. Typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi in 10 minutes test.
Desirable:
1. DCA or equivalent Diploma in Computer proficiency.
2. Two years’ experience as an office assistant/clerk/data entry operator.
3. Working experience in Tally/Taxation.

9. Cook – 1 Post

Minimum Qualification:
1. Matric or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years’ experience of cooking in Sports Hostel, Sports Training Centre etc.

The candidates are required to bring a copy of their bio-data along with all the supporting documents in respect of educational qualification and experience at 10.00 AM on the respective/said dates. The Institute reserve the right to appoint in all or any of the above positions based on the requirement of the Institute.

The qualification may be relaxed in exceptional cases at the discretion of competent Authority if sufficient numbers of candidates are not available.

The Appointment will be made on the basis of result of competitive examination and interview. For Sl. No. 1 & 3 – the maximum age limit is 28 years. For Sl. No. 2 – the maximum age limit is 25 years and for Sl. No. 4 & 5 – the maximum age limit is 27 years .The Departmental candidates possessing the requisite qualifications will be eligible for age relaxation as per ICMR rules. Age relaxation up to 5 years is allowed for Govt. servants and for SC / ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years and PH – 10 years in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Govt. from time to time. Crucial date for calculating the maximum age will be last date of receipt of application. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH and OBC (Non­Creamy layer) should furnish their certificates in the prescribed format failing which their application will not be considered.

Pay & other allowances are admissible as per ICMR rules. Benefit of new restructured defined contributory Pension Scheme is admissible for new entrants as per provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Dept. of Economic Affair (ECB && PR Divn.). CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute Walk-In For Officer Assistants

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR – CMERI), desires to engage 11 Office Assistants on purely temporary basis on contract for a period of 06 (six) months at this Institute.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Essential : Graduate in any discipline or equivalent with one year Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized Institute and possessing minimum 25 wpm typing speed in English on computer.

Desirable: Experience in working on Human Resource Management Automation Solutions.

Mode of Selection : The selection process includes a Written Test in General English and Computer Applications etc. along with a Proficiency Test (typing speed test @ 25 words per minute in English on computer) scheduled at 09:30 AM on 22.11.2011 (Tuesday). Candidates who qualify both in the Written Test & Proficiency Test will have to appear for an interview / personal discussion before the Selection Committee at 10:00 AM on 23.11.2011 in the Conference Room of the Institute.
