Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education And Research (PGIMER)Notification for 121 Vacacnies In Various Departments
Applications on prescribed forms are invited from the Indian citizens for the following posts.
Vacancies:
1) Senior Residents: 108 Nos
2) Junior / Senior Demonstrator (non Medical)/Medical in various departments:07 Nos
3) Nuclear Medicine in various departments: 1 Nos
4) Senior Medical Officer (Casualty) in Emergency: 5 Nos
Age limit: Candidates should have an age below 32 years as on 25-11-2011. Upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidates is given as per Indian government rules
Application fee: Eligible candidates drawn demand draft of Rs. 500/- as application fee in favour of Director,PGIMER. Rs 250/- for SC/ST candidates
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected on the basis of written examination of 60 marks & The candidates who clear the written examination will be assessed by a Departmental Committee.The departmental assessment would consist of 25 marks and is based upon clinical evaluation/laboratory testing /detailed structured viva.

Application form and other information viz. Selection procedure, qualification, experience and age limit etc. can be obtained from the Establishment Branch-I, (Kairon Block, 3rd Floor, PGIMER, Chandigarh either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelop (27cm x 12 cm) alongwith Demand Draft of Rs.525/- (Rs.275/- for SC/ST candidates) payable at SBI (Code No.1524), Chandigarh, in favour of Director, PGIMER, as Non-refundable fee and cost of application form etc. The application forms completed in all respect may be submitted in the name of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh-160012.
