CSIR – National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR), a constituent establishment of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, is a premier Institute in Science Communication promoting science to diverse constituents at all levels using the most appropriate technologies. It provides formal linkages of communication among the scientific community in the form of research journals in different areas of S&T, information on plant, animal and mineral wealth of the country; disseminates S&T information to general public including school students; harnesses IT applications in information management with particular reference to science communication and modernizing libraries; acts as facilitator in furthering economic, social, industrial, scientific and commercial development by providing timely access to relevant and accurate information; Develop HR in science communication, library, documentation and information science, and S&T information management systems and services, IPR, herbarium techniques, etc. The Institute also offers wide range of information products and services ranging from production of S&T publications, translation & interpretation of Scientific Documents from foreign languages to English. NISCAIR also undertakes projects in its area of activities.

Applications are invited from the Indian nationals for filling up the following Scientific Positions:

Designation: Scientist / Senior Scientist
No. of Posts: 4 (2-UR, 1-SC, 1-0BC) (Out of 4 vacancies one is reserved for PwD (OH))
Pay Band: Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3)
Grade Pay: Rs.6600/- for Scientist / Rs.7600/- for Sr. Scientist
*Total Emoluments: Rs. 64,855/- Approx for Scientist / Rs.74,400/- Approx. for Sr. Scientist
**Upper Age Limit not exceeding (as on last date): 32 years

*Total Emoluments means approximate total emoluments on minimum of scale including House Rent Allowance in Delhi.

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the following posts on Deputation/ Immediate Absorption/Direct Recruitment basis in the Science and Engineering Research Board, New Delhi as per details given below:

1. SCIENTIST ‘E’
2. SCIENTIST ‘C’

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POST OF SCIENTIST ‘E’:
(i) Doctorate Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) Ten years’ experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organisations or scientific activities and services, out of which five years shall be in administering, planning, development and coordination of science and technology programmes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POST OF SCIENTIST ‘C’:
(i) Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) Four years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations.

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research–Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI), Durgapur, established in 1958 the apex R&D institute for mechanical engineering under the aegis of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an Autonomous Body under the Government of India desires to fill up the following Scientific / Technical positions.

Positions:

1) Scientists / Sr. Scientist: 15 Posts [UR-11, OBC-01, SC-02, ST-01]

Educational Qualification:

For Scientist : ME/M.Tech in Chemical Engg./Industrial Metallurgy/Tribology and Surface Engg./Engineering Mechanics/Electrical Engg./Design of Mechanical Equipment/Manufacturing Science / Production Technology.

For Sr. Scientist : Ph.D in Organic / Inorganic Chemistry with 2 years relevant experience / Ph.D in Computer Science.

2) Sr. Technical Officer(1): 02 Posts [UR]

Educational Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or equivalent with two years of experience in relevant area.
