Applications are invited from the eligible candidate (Indian nationals only) on a plain paper for the temporary post(s) in the research project entailed “Evaluation of Cry toxin binding proteins/receptors in development of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) resistance in selected lepidopteran pests”. (SB/SO/AS/047/2013, dated 27-11-2013) Sponsored by Department of Science and Technology as mentioned below

1. Research Associate – 1 Post
Stipend: Rs.22,000 + HRA
Qualification:
1. Ph.D in Biological Sciences.
2. Research publications in peer reviewed journals.
3. Research experience in the field of Insect Molecular biology and Physiology.

2. Laboratory Attendant
Stipend: Rs. 10,000 (Consolidated)
Qualification:
1. 10th Standard Pass
2. Minimum 5 Years of work experience in a laboratory set-up
3. Technical Experience in rearing, selection & maintenance of insect culture facility (essential)

A) Applicants should note that appointments to be made are purely temporary and there is no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the university.
B) No TA/DA will pay for attending the interview or at the time of post, if selected.
