Candidates who have appeared or will appear for their final examination, as on the last date of filling online application form and waiting for their results are eligible to appear for the selection process, however offer to join the Board will be subject to production of necessary documents evidencing successfully obtaining the requisite qualification.
  2. Reservations: Appropriate reservation will be given to candidates belonging to OBC (NCL), EWSs, SC, ST and PwBD candidates as per applicable laws.
  3. Age Limit: A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on March 31, 2024 i.e., candidate must have been born on or after April 01, 1994.Relaxation in age limits will be given as per applicable rules.
  4. Mode of Selection: Selection will be carried out in three phases. Phase I will be an on-line examination consisting of two papers. Candidates shortlisted in Phase I will appear for Phase II, which will also be in the form of on-line examination(s) consisting of two papers. Candidates shortlisted in Phase II will be called for an Interview. SEBI reserves the right to modify the selection procedure, if deemed fit.
  5. Service Conditions/ Pay and Allowances:
  6. Probation: The selected candidates shall be recruited as Officers Grade ‘A’ and will undergo a probation of two years.
  7. Pay & Benefits: The pay scale of officers in Grade A is ₹44500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)- 85850-3300(1)-89150 (17 years).

Presently, the gross emolument including SEBI’s Contribution towards National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance, Learning Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, etc. at Mumbai at the minimum of this scale is approx. ₹1,49,500/- p.m. without accommodation and ₹1,11,000/- p.m. with accommodation.

Other benefits viz., Leave Fare Concession, Medical Expenses, Eye Refraction, Education Allowance, Financial Dailies, Book Grant, Briefcase, Conveyance Expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, Staff Furnishing Scheme, Scheme for Purchasing Computers, Subsidized Lunch Facility and all other benefits as admissible to an Officer in Grade A in SEBI.

  1. Accommodation & Posting: Residential accommodation would be provided subject to availability. The incumbent may be posted and transferred to any location in India where SEBI has its Offices. The recruited officers may be posted to any department of SEBI, irrespective of stream.
  2. Examination Centres: The on-line examinations and interviews will be held in various cities across India.
  3. Application Fee (Non-refundable): ₹1000/- as application fee cum intimation charges + 18% GST for Unreserved, OBC and EWSs category and ₹100/- as intimation charges +  18% GST for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.

Pre-examination training for SC / ST / OBC(NCL) / PwBD candidates: SEBI will arrange pre-examination training for SC / ST / OBC(NCL) / PwBD candidates, free of cost in online mode. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC(NCL) / PwBD candidates, who desire to avail of the pre-examination training, should invariably fill in the details in the relevant column while filling the ON-LINE application. Any subsequent request shall not be entertained. Further, no other mode of request shall be entertained.

Desirable Qualifications i. Able to perform basic molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting and Immunohistochemistry.

ii. Prior experience in handling various automated biochemical analysis platforms, ELISAs etc.

iii. Candidates having experience in mouse and rat handling will be preferred. Experience in primary and secondary cell culture, isolation of various immune cell subsets, immunological assays such as ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, western blotting, etc, is highly desirable

iv. Candidates with National level Qualification exams will be preferred

v. Prior Experience in various cell culture technique

vi. Any prior experience in handling sophisticated molecular biology instruments such as Flowcytometry, ELISPOT readers etc.

Selection Procedure: The shortlisted candidates will only be called for an Interview. Interview will be conducted through physical or through video conference mode or in hybrid mode. The Interview will be conducted at ICMR-National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad with prior intimation to the candidates.

Qualification & experience required are as per guidelines. Experience shall be counted after acquiring the essential qualification; age limit and experience will be considered as on the date of the interview.

Initially the appointment is for the tenure mentioned in the tables (Six month or One year) for the respective post from the date of assignment of duty and is likely to be extended for 6 months if required subject to performance evaluation by the Project Investigator.

The short listed candidates will be intimated though e-mail only on further procedures of recruitment. The selected listed candidate will be required to produce original documents for verification at the time of joining.

Submission of incorrect or false information during the process shall disqualify the candidature.

Any further information may be downloaded from ICMR-N1OH website, which will be updated from time to time. Date of personal discussion / written test may be changed due to administrative reasons. Hence, candidates are advised to check website before appearing for personal discussion / written test.

The decision of the Director/Director-in-Charge/Competent Authority, ICMR- National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad will be final in this regard. Canvassing in any form will be considered as a disqualification.

The engagement to the project position is purely on time bound contract basis and the Competent Authority reserves the right to dispense with the engagement, at anytime without assigning any reasons.

The engagement can be terminated during the tenure at any time by giving one-month notice on either side. Your engagement can be terminated forthwith or before expiry of the notice period, by making payment of a sum equivalent to one-month project position remuneration. However, you will not be permitted to surrender one- month remuneration, in lieu of the period of notice of unexpired portion thereof and you will be required to serve the full period of notice. (Note — The mandate of one- month notice from either side, as stated herein, will not be applicable in case the project is decided to be closed by the competent authority within a period of less than 30 days/one month.)

The engagement will be under the Administrative control of the ICMR-NIOH / Centre of ICMR-NIOH and will be subject to all the rules and regulations of the ICMR-NIOH / Centre of ICMR-NIOH as applicable to fixed term project positions/persons during the tenure/period of engagement.

As per project requirement the posting will be at office/field/sitework/travel etc. at the study site; however, may be temporarily posted to other study sites in the interest of project work.

There will not be entitlement to any other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, LTC, Bonus, etc. Also, incumbent shall not be provided any medical facility under CGHS / CS (MA) Rules as admissible to regular employees, and not entitled for any terminal benefits after completion of project period or otherwise.

No travelling and/or daily allowance will be admissible either for joining the assignment or on expiry of the contract. However, while travelling in connection with the assigned work during the period of engagement, you will be entitled to draw TA/DA in accordance with your Stipend / Emoluments, but it will not be at par with the regular / permanent employees of ICMR.

Age relaxation will be admissible as per GoI and ICMR norms. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other ICMR research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.

Candidates employed in Govt. Service / Semi Govt. / Autonomous Bodies of State / Central Govt. should submit a “No Objection Certificate” front their employer at the time of written test / walk-in Interview.

There will not have any claim on a regular post in ICMR-NIOH / Centre of ICMR-NIOH or in any Dept. of GOI. An undertaking to this effect before joining the project position.

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India has entrusted IIITDM Kurnool as Participating Institute for the project entitled “Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and related Technology)” under the Work Theme GNC Algorithms & Simulation

The primary objective of the project is to leverage collaborative activities in human resource development through capacity building in education and training in the area of UAS. The project is conceived to achieve the following broad objectives: i. To enhance capacity & capabilities of select institutions in identified WTs on Unmanned Aircraft Systems. ii. To institutionalize a collaborative ecosystem through identified Resource Centres (RCs) and Participating Institutions (PIs) for synergy of capabilities & expertise. iii. To foster development of competent human resources at various levels including Postgraduate & Graduate programs, PG Diploma/Certificate programs, Faculty Updation and Master Trainers in niche areas of UAS. iv. To promote entrepreneurial mindset and nurture technical talent among the student community through innovative interventions such as Bootcamps and Proof-of Concepts. v.
