Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship – 2015

israel_asiaThe Israel-Asia Leaders fellowship develops and invests in the future leaders of Israel-Asia relations by providing Israeli and Asian students studying in Israel with the high-level access, contacts, skills-set and support network necessary to build long-term, strategic partnerships between Israel and Asia through their professional careers on return to their home countries.

The program is part-time and is designed to supplement Israeli and Asian students’ existing university study programs in Israel.

By participating in the Israel-Asia Leaders fellowship, you will be part of a select group of young leaders, and gain high-level access, contacts, skills-set and support network necessary to build long-term, strategic partnerships between Israel and Asia through your professional career.

The next fellowship program will run according to the academic year – from October 7, 2015 to June 2016. The program orientation will take place October 7-8, 2015 in Jerusalem. Fellowship activities will be held approximately two-three Sundays a month between October to January, and one Sunday a month from February to June.

Applications for 2015-16 Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship will open May 1, 2015.

RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME (JRF / SRF)

Applications are invited from candidates to assist project investigators in the in-house R&D programmes, electrical product evaluation activities and collaborative research projects of national importance. Candidates will have to work towards Ph.D / M.Sc., (Engg) by research at “CPRI Research Centre”, under Visvesvaraya Technological University-VTU, Belgaum, Karnataka or any other centrally-funded/state-funded institute, in the following research areas.

Shortlisted candidates should apply to VTU or any other centrally-funded/state-funded institute through “CPRI Research Centre” for M.Sc (Engg) / Ph.D. Candidates who are successful in the entrance examination & interview and approved to pursue M.Sc (Engg) / Ph.D by research in such institutes as mentioned above is eligible for Award of “CPRI Research Fellowship”.

Fellowship:

  • 20,000/- for M.Sc. (Engg.)
  • 30,000/- for Ph.D in Engg.
  • The Fellowship shall be provided for a period of three (3) years, extendable by one (1) more year and would be incremented by 10% every year.
