Dibrugarh University engagement of Research Personnel – 2014

Dibrugarh_UniversityApplications are invited from interested candidates for the following research positions in the Centre for Atmospheric Studies, Department of Physics, Dibrugarh University

1. Research Associate – 1 Post
(ISRO GBP Aerosol Radiative Forcing over India)
Remuneration: Rs. 22, 000 pm + Rs 1,000/yr for TT/TTT year
Qualification: Ph. D in Physics/Atmospheric Physics
Desirable: Experience of working in the area of aerosols/trace gases and radiative forcing, sufficient working knowledge of aerosol instruments and ability to carry out quality research as evidenced by publications in reputed journals

2. JRF (ISRO GBP ARFI) – 1 Post
Remuneration: Rs 16,000 PM
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics
Desirable: NET/SLET in Physics; specialization in Space Physics/ Atmospheric Physics

3. Project Assistant (ISRO GBP ARFI) – 1 Post
Remuneration: Rs. 10,000 (Fixed)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics

4. Junior Research Fellow – 3 Post
(DST sponsored project “Investigation of the structure and dynamics of the Equatorial Ionization Anomaly along 95°E through a network of GNSS receivers)
Remuneration: Rs 16, 000 pm
Qualification: M. Sc/ M. Tech in Physics; B Tech in Engineering Physics
Desirable: NET/SLET in Physics; specialization in Space Physics/ Atmospheric Physics

Candidates with two years’ experience as JRF in related sponsored project may be placed in the SRF category.

The Associate/fellows will also be eligible to draw HRA and Medical Allowance as per university rules.
