CSIR-CSMCRI is a leading research institute of international standards under CSIR. Energetic and highly motivated young personals are required to work under OECT-ONGC sponsored project concern with hydrogen generation by water splitting.

Details of Posts/Qualifications:
Post: JRF/Project Assistant-II: 2 Posts

Qualification:
JRF: M.Sc. (Chemistry) and CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE qualified.
Project Assistant-II: M.Sc. (Chemistry) with at least 55% marks.

Job requirement: Preparations of nanoparticle embedded polymer membranes for water splitting and hydrogen production by membrane electrolysis. Computer knowledge is essential.

Fellowship:
JRF: Rs. 25000/ + HRA (As per CSIR/CSMCRI rule).
Project Assistant-II: Rs. 25000/ fixed.

Age:
JRF: Should not be more than 28 years on 06th July, 2018.
Project Assistant-II: Should not be more than 30 years on 06th July, 2018.

Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rule.

Duration: One year or completion of the project, whichever will earlier.

The Head, Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi intend to recruit the outstanding personnel for post of JRFs in ICAR-funded project purely on contractual basis. The details of the posts are as follows:

Terms and conditions:

  1. Age limit: Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST/woman and three years for OBC.
  2. The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for one year, which may be extended periodically till the termination of the project subject to performance review of the candidate.
  3. Candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
  4. The interview of the eligible candidates will be held on 17-07-2015 at 9.30AM, in the chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi.
  5. Reporting time: 00 AM
  6. Candidate will have to bring a copy of biodata, original certificates, self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and recent passport sized photograph. The original- or provisional- master’s degree to be brought while attending the interview.
  7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
  8. Only the candidate having essential qualification would be allowed for the interview.

EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION

Applications are called from the eligible candidates in Person alongwith a set of photo copies of all educational qualifications, experience and community certificates duly attested by the Gazetted Officer for the following position on the ad hoc research project entitled “Pre-diabetes induced retinopathy: Biochemical and molecular mechanisms and intervention by dietary agents” funded by DBT at this Institute. The Applications will be received on 23rd June, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. sharp, the late applications will not be received at any circumstance. The names of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board which is kept in front of the Conference Hall by 11-30 a.m. The written test / interview will be conducted on 23rd June, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Conference Hall, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad – 500 007.

Essential Qualifications 1. First Class M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Bio- Technology/ Life Sciences from recognized University.
2. The candidate should have qualified in CSIR/NET/UGC/ICMR/PGI without fellowship.
Desirable Two years research experience in Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology.
Age Below 30 years.
Consolidated Fellowship Rs.14,000/-p.m.(Fixed) + 30% HRA p.m. without any other allowances
Tenure Initially for six months and can be extendable up to 22-02-2016 depending upon the funds position.

Note: Age relaxation will be given to the deserving Candidates as per the ICMR Circular No.16/107/2008-Admn.II, dated 22.10.2014.

The short listed candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience, SC/ST/OBC Community Certificate / PH Certificates along with a pass port size photograph and set of Photo copies duly attested for attending the Written Test/Interview. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the latest O.B.C. (Non-creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective Tahsildar/MRO specifically issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government Post. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Written Test /Interview.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute.
