Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following postgraduate degree/diploma courses of Ranchi University and conducted at this Institute, commencing from May 1, 2012.

Courses:

M.D. (Psychiatry)-5 seats

Diploma in Psychological Medicine-9 seats

Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology- 4 seats

M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology-18 seats

M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work -12 seats

Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing – 18 seats

Selection procedure:

for M.D. and D.P.M. course:
The selection will depend upon marks obtained in the entrance examination. The entrance test will be of MCQ type consisting of 100 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. There will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer. The test will have questions of MBBS standard in the following approximate distribution:
20% from Psychiatry and allied behavioural sciences
15% from Neurology
30% from General Medicine
35% from rest of Medical subjects
For Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, M.Phil in Medical and Social Psychology and M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work courses also the entrance test will be of MCQ type consisting of 100 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. The test will have questions of M.A. /M.Sc./MSW standard. There will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.
For Diploma in Psychiatric nursing course there shall not be a written entranceexamination. However, there will be an interview for the selection of the candidates.

The application form is to be submitted electronically by internet to CIP website: www.cipranchi.nic.in. and a hard copy of the same application form printed on A4 size bond paper complete in all respect along with a Demand Draft of Rs.400/- for General candidate and Rs.300/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates (non-refundable) in favour of Director, CIP, Ranchi payable at Ranchi should reach the Director, Central Institute of Psychiatry, Kanke, Ranchi- 834006 (Jharkhand) by December 9, 2011.

Notification For Recruitment Of Security Assistants in Intelligence Bureau

On line applications are invited for direct recruitment to the post of Security Assistant (Executive), General Central Service, (Group-C) Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the following Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India.

No Of Posts:

Security Assistant: 410 Nos

Eligibility Conditions:

 (A)         Essential: (i)- Matriculation(Class X) or equivalent from a recognized Board.

                                          (ii)– Knowledge of local language/Dialect as specified above against each SIBx/centres of examination.

(B)   Desirable: Field Experience in intelligence work.

Age:  Not exceeding 27 years as on closing date of application. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC, Ex-Serviceman as per Government of India rules.

Selection Procedure: The candidates who come up to a specific standard following a preliminary screening of applications based on knowledge of the local language(s) of the SIBx/Centre concerned, academic qualification, marks obtained in the examinations and depending upon the number of vacancies, would be called for an Objective Type test on General Knowledge, Current awareness, aptitude, reasoning, general arithmetic and English of 100 marks to be held at the respective centres of examination where the candidate have applied for. Those candidates who meet specific standard in the objective type test will be further called for local language test (50 marks) and personality test (50 marks).

The Objective type would be held on a common day for all the centres of examination and hence the candidates should apply for the vacancies of a SIB, depending upon their knowledge of the local Language/Dialect mentioned against it in table ‘A’ above. Application submitted for more than one SIBx/Centre would be rejected.

IIST Admission Test (ISAT) – 2012 Notification

ISAT is an All India Admission Test, for B.Tech programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), the first Space University of Asia, offers courses from undergraduate to doctoral level in Space Science and Technology.

 The total number of seats for the Undergraduate Programmes in IIST for the academic year 2012-13 is 156. The seat matrix for different programmes is as follows:

(a) B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering: 60
(b) B. Tech. in Avionics: 60
(c) B. Tech. in Physical Sciences: 36

Admission Process:

Through Written Test

The question paper will be of objective type and will consist of three separate sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Examination Fee:

Students seeking admission to ISAT-2012 are required to pay Examination Fee as under:
a) Male candidates in GEN and OBC categories: Rs.600/-
b) Female candidates (GEN and OBC): Rs. 300/-
c) All SC, ST, PD candidates: Rs. 300/-
The payment is to be made in any one of the branches of State Bank of India (SBI) , Punjab National Bank (PNB) or Union Bank of India(UBI), using a Challan that can be downloaded/ printed from the website on successful completion of Online Registration. The examination fee is non-refundable.

Qualification:

Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories require an aggregate of at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) to make them eligible for appearing in ISAT 2012 and those belonging to SC/ST/PD should have an aggregate of at least 60% marks in PCM subjects in the QE.

Qualifying Examination:

i) The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi; Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi, etc.
(ii) Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board /University.
(iii) Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
(iv) General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
(v) High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
(vi) Any Public School/Board/University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
(vii) Vocational Higher Secondary Examination.
(viii) Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.

Notification To Fill 1434 Excise constables Posts In Andhra Pradesh

Qualification:

I.T.Officer (Scale-I): B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc.(or Equivalent) Degree in Computer Science or Communication or Electronics with Computer Science as one of the subjects or MCS or MCA.

Agriculture Finance Officer (Scale I) : A Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Agri. Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri Marketing & Cooperation from recognized university.

Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I): A minimum 2nd class post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject in degree level OR a post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as a subject in degree level. 2 years experience of translation in a full time post in any organization.

Law Officer (Scale II): A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) with not less than 50% Marks. Additional qualification of Post Graduate Degree in Law (LLM). CAIIB/MBA may be considered in preference to other candidates.
EXPERIENCE : 5 years Experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and/or Law Officer in the Legal Dept. of a reputed Bank or the Central/State Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar for a minimum period of three years.

Security Officer (Scale II): An officer with 5 years commissioned service in the Army/Navy/Air Force or a Police Officer not below a rank of Asstt. S.P./Deputy S.P. with 5 years service OR Officers of comparable rank in para military forces with 5 years service.
