RELAXATIONS AND CONCESSIONS

  1. Reservation/ relaxation/ concession to OBC (NCL)/ SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex – SM/ J&K Domiciled/ Victims of riots shall be as per Government of India directives.
  2. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for the benefit for PwD.
  3. Relaxation in Marks in essential qualification for SC/ST/PwD candidates: Qualifying Marks in essential qualification is relaxed to pass marks for posts reserved for the respective category as per the final detailed advertisement issued before commencement of online registration.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
a) For OBC(NCL) candidates : 3 years (for posts reserved for the respective category)
b) For SC/ST candidates : 5 years (for posts reserved for the respective category)
c) For PwD candidates : 10 years over and above category relaxation
d) J&K Domicile / Ex- Servicemen/ Victims of riots : As per Govt. of India directives

SELECTION PROCESS

The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2016, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

Eligible candidates will have to appear for the corresponding paper of GATE 2016, i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE)/ Electronics and Communication (EC) / Civil Engineering (CE)/ Computer Science and Information Technology (CS)

Candidates qualified in corresponding paper of GATE 2016 shall only be eligible to be considered for the next stage of selection.

Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2016, in the corresponding paper.

Candidates shall obtain information about their status through their login at the POWERGRID Online Application System. Shortlisted candidates shall be able to download their interview call letter and other relevant documents through the candidate login.

Candidates shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Interview shall be required to bring the documents as mentioned in their interview call letter.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION/ APPLICATION

  1. Candidates have to register themselves and appear for the corresponding paper of GATE 2016.

  4. Application window for POWERGRID shall be open from 15th January 2016 to 29th February 2016. Candidates have to register themselves online at POWERGRID website with details of their GATE 2016 Application No., GATE 2016 Registration Number and other required information, which will be made available at CAREER section ofpowergridindia.com.
  5. Candidates will be required to retain their GATE 2016 Admit card and GATE 2016 Score card for verification at the time of GD/ Interview / Joining in POWERGRID.

In continuation of earlier notification dated 21.09.2015, the University proposes to fill up the vacant seats arose after 1st counseling for admission into MBBS/BDS courses for the year 2015-16 in the State of Telangana. The counseling for Special Categories will be held on 10.09.2015 and the 2nd and Final counseling will be held from 11-09-2015 to 14.09.2015 for all vacant seats.

The Eligible Rank holders of Telangana EAMCET-2015 who did not get the seat in 1st counseling are directed to attend this counseling. Those candidates who secured admission in 1st counseling and wish to change their college/course according to their merit, and those who have cancelled / withdrawn / not joined can also attend the counseling.

3) The selected candidates shall submit all original certificates and pay the college fee and University fee by way of crossed demand drafts (as detailed in the earlier notification dt.21.07.2015 drawn in favour of the Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, payable at Vijayawada any Nationalized Bank.
4) The other terms and conditions for counseling remain unchanged as announced in our earlier notification dated dt.21.07.2015.

6) Candidates who have already taken admission in earlier phase shall bring the copies of allotment orders, receipt of certificates, fee receipt and admission (copy) from the college where the candidate was admitted.
7) The University fee and other fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

  1. Counseling Fee(non- refundable): All the candidates who attend the counseling first time have to pay an amount of Rs.1500/- for OC /BC and Rs.800/- for SC/ST candidates as counseling fee at the reception counter of the counseling center irrespective of their selection /admission. The candidates those who have paid the Counseling fee during the 1st counseling such candidates shall produce counseling fee receipt at the Registration counter.
  2. Custodian Certificate: Custodian certificate issued by the of Dr.NTR UHS / affiliated colleges of Dr.NTR UHS will be permitted. Custodian Certificates produced from other Universities / Institutions will not be allowed.
  3. Final Counseling: Once a candidate secured admission to a particular college / course based on his/her option no more claims to admission into other colleges / course be entertained during the Academic Year 2015-16
  4. Cancellation fee : Rs.1,00,000/- towards cancellation fee to be paid for cancellation of admission by the candidates who are provisionally selected into MBBS/BDS courses in the counseling for the academic year 2015-16 and also forfeit the University fee and tuition fee which was paid at the time of counseling
