Applications for recruitment of Headmistress, PGTs and SIMs in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas in Haryana

Online applications are invited from female candidates only for filling up of the under mentioned categories of posts under Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas on contractual basis initially for a period of one year and further extendable on yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance. These posts are purely contractual in nature. The online application form can be filled up at the website http://recruitment-portal.in up to thereafter, website link will be disabled.

No. 1: Headmistress (8 Posts)
Qualifications:
(i) At least 55% marks each in Post graduation and Graduation from a recognized university.
(ii) The subject in which Post Graduation is done should be one of the subject in Graduation;
(iii) B.Ed. / M.Phil from a recognized University with 55% marks; and
(iv) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2 / B.A. / M.A with Hindi as one of the subject, and
(v) Teaching experience of 6 years from Government / Recognized / Progressive Public School not below the rank of TGT/Master:
(vi) Consistent good academic record;
(ViiJ Proficiency in English and Hindi; and
(viii) Conversant in IT skills and effective use of new technologies as tools for learning.

No. 2: Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) (18 Posts)
Qualifications common to all categories of PGTs :
(i) The subject in which Post Graduation is done should be one of the subjects in Graduation; and
(ii) B.Ed./M.Phil with 50% marks from recognized university.
(iii) Matriculation with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10 i 2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject; and
(iv) Certificate of having qualified State Teacher’s Eligibility Test (STET)/ Haryana Teacher’s Eligibility Test (HTET)/National Eligibility Test (NET).; and
(v) Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi medium; and
(vi) Consistent good academic record; and
(vii) Conversant in IT skills and effective use of new technologies as tools for learning.
(viii) In case of PGTs, in the subjects of English, Physics, Hindi and Mathematics the candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET), condition of B.Ed./M.Phil. will not be applicable.
(ix) Age: 21 to 40 as on 28-08-2014.

No. 3: School Information Managers (SIMs) ( 8 Posts)
a) Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc. (Computer Science) (with at least 50% Marks)
Or
Master in Computer Application (with at least 50% Marks)
Or
BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/ (with at least 50% Marks)

Application Fee: Application fees (non-refundable) amounting toRs.500/-+Rs.20 (Bank charges) for General and other category candidates and Rs.250/-+Rs.20 (Bank charges) for Female SC/PH candidates of Haryana state will be payable through challan, generated after online filling of application. Candidates belonging to other reserved categories (SC/BC/ESM/PHC candidates of Haryana State) must ensure that they have valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority. In case, at the time of verification of documents, it is found that certificates are not valid, their candidature will be rejected.

Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) invites applications for the following positions in its Joint Research Program with Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute for Basic Sciences (SRIBS), a new constituent institute of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), in Chemical Biology laboratory incubated at the RGCB-Bio Innovation Center at Kazhakuttom, Thiruvananthapuram until SRIBS permanent infrastructure gets ready at Pampady in Kottayam District of Kerala, under an agreement with RGCB. These positions are for Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute for Basic Sciences (SRIBS). At the end of the planned five year period, when the SRIBS buildings and laboratories is fully established, SRIBS will notify and transfer the research program and the personnel to its campus at Kottayam. This appointment to the joint research program being hosted at RGCB will be governed by SRIBS, KSCSTE Rules.

1. Eligibility Criteria
i)     Land losers whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway line Project (Self / Sons / Spouse / Unmarried daughters / Grandsons/ Unmarried Granddaughters only) are eligible. *Only one candidate per land acquisition (irrespective of family) is eligible. In case of SC/ST candidates, there is no such limit of number per land acquisition.
ii)    Employees serving in KRCL are not eligible to apply.

2. Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th pass from the Recognized State Level Education Board, or ITI or equivalent or above.

3. Age
The candidates should be within the age group of 18 years (minimum) and 33 years (maximum) as on 01/01/2015 with 3 years Upper age relaxation for OBC and 5 years Upper Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

4. Job Description
Trackmen: The job of Trackman mostly involves outdoor duties for railway track and railway related equipment’s operation and maintenance. For this job, he has to pass the required training and perform his duty with his mental and physical strength. In addition to keeping proper records, performing physical work, he has also to walk several kilometers daily. He has to lift heavy material and walk carrying these in work area. The working hours may be in day or night or both. In addition to the above, any other works may also be allotted to him by the administration from time to time.

Station House Keeper Helper (SHKH): Further, some jobs also involve cleaning of washrooms, cleaning of all areas of station including outside premises and stair case and cleaning of track with broom and wet mop, garbage disposal and trash to be emptied frequently every day etc.,

Female candidates may kindly note that the category involves duties which are arduous in nature and call for working in shifts on railway station at odd hours, at road side station and also away from headquarters.

The minimum qualification prescribed for employment is 10th pass from the recognized State Level Board, ITI or equivalent or above. Hence, the candidates who possess higher educational qualification other than that mentioned above should read the job description carefully and exercise their option please.
