Sub: Engagement of trade apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act. 1961.

Applications are invited for the under mentioned Trades from the candidates who have passed Industrial Training Institute Examination and possess the requisite educational qualification as mentioned against each trade. Candidates may apply in prescribed proforma along with copies of Certificates and passport size photograph, both self attested. The candidates who have passed prior to the year 2013, they should attach an Affidavit on Non judicial stamp paper duly attested by Magistrate or Notary Public to the effect that they have neither undergone Apprenticeship Training earlier nor have taken employment anywhere.

The Applications complete in all respect along with copies of certificates/documents with original & 2 extra passport size photograph should submit in the Office of Chief Manager (HR), CHRD, Khetri Copper Complex, Khetri Nagar in person latest by 31/07/2015.

Note:

  1. Application received late will not be considered.
  2. Incomplete applications without attested photo, copies of certificates and Affidavit if required will not be considered.
  3. Preference will be given to the dependents of the KCC employees. (Dependent means son, daughter and real brother).
  4. Application form can be submitted on all working days (Except Saturday) in the office of the undersigned during Office hours in person between 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
  5. Stipend will be paid as admissible under the rules.
  6. At the time of examination Mobile/Calculator will not be allowed in the examination hall.

HSL is the pioneer Shipbuilding and Ship repair Yard functioning under the Ministry of Defence. The Company is looking for Semi-skilled workmen in the following posts.

SPECIFICATIONS:

i) Qualifications: Must have a pass in SSC or Equivalent.

For the posts at (a) to (g) Candidates must have ITI in the relevant trades with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination in concerned trade conducted by NCVT of the Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India. Ex. HSL Apprentice Training with NAC will be given preference.

For the posts at (h) – the candidates must possess Driving Licence for heavy vehicle and practical experience in operating all types of cranes including EOT cranes.
ii) Experience Minimum 4 years experience in the relevant trade in Shipbuilding/ Ship repairs / Naval Dockyards. (Exp. Will be reckoned as on 01 Apr 2014). Proof of experience is to be enclosed.

In case of internal candidates engaged on direct contract by HSL and presently on rolls, proof of their experience in HSL need not be enclosed for their period of engagement by HSL.
iii) Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on 01 Apr 2014.
iv) Duration: Permanent
v) Pay Scale: Rs. 6,970-13,700 plus other admissible allowances.
vi) Nature of Duties The selected Tradesmen will have to work in Shipbuilding and Ship repairs Divisions and also carryout other works entrusted by the Department in which they are posted from time to time as per the Productions Norms.

Note : (i) Relaxation of Age in case of reserved categories will be given as per Govt. Rules. (ii) In case of internal employees engaged on direct contract by HSL and presently on rolls, age relaxation will be allowed.

The filled in Application as per the attached format along with the attested copies of all the relevant certificates including SC/ST/OBC Caste Certificate/PH Certificate, if applicable, Certificates of proof of previous experience/employment should reach the Dy. General Manager (Pers. & Admn), Hindustan Shipyard Ltd., Gandhigram (PO), Visakhapatnm-530 005 on or before 24 Apr 2014.
