NOTICE FOR WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

The Institute invites eligible and interested candidates to appear in the Walk-in-Interview on the dates indicated against the posts on purely contractual basis without any right or likelihood of permanent appointment for the following positions for a period of ten months for teaching staff and one year for non-teaching staff, as the case may be depending upon actual requirement based on running the courses:

1. Assistant Professor – 10 Posts
Date of Interview: 03.07.2014
Minimum Qualification: Master Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of marks with specialization in any of the disciplines of following:
Athletics, Handball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Gymnastics, Judo, Hockey, Swimming, Yoga, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Boxing, Kayaking and Canoeing, Archery, Tennis, weight lifting.
NET/ Ph.D./M.Phil.

2. Coach – 4 Posts

Minimum Qualification:
1. Master Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of marks.
2. PG Diploma/Diploma in coaching from recognized Institute/University in any: Athletic, Handball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Gymnastics, Judo, Hockey, Swimming, Yoga, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Boxing, Kayaking and Canoeing, Archery, Tennis, Table Tennis, Cycling

3. Assistant Professor (English/Comm. Skill/EVS) – 1 Post

5. Computer Instructor – 1 Post

Essential:
1. BE/BCA or equivalent computer degree.
Desirable:
1. One year experience of Institutional class or software and Hardware maintenance.

6. Physiotherapist – 1 Post

1. Bachelor of Physiotherapist or equivalent from a recognized University/lnstitute.
Desirable:
l.One year experience of working in Medical Hospital/firm/lnstitution etc.

7. Nurse (Female) – 1 Post

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. (Nursing)
Desirable:
1. One experience in Govt, and Private unit.

8. Office Assistant – 3 Posts

Minimum Qualification:
Essential:
1. Higher Secondary or equivalent from recognized board/council.
2. Typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi in 10 minutes test.
Desirable:
1. DCA or equivalent Diploma in Computer proficiency.
2. Two years’ experience as an office assistant/clerk/data entry operator.
3. Working experience in Tally/Taxation.

9. Cook – 1 Post
Date of Interview: 04.07.2014
Minimum Qualification:
1. Matric or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years’ experience of cooking in Sports Hostel, Sports Training Centre etc.

The candidates are required to bring a copy of their bio-data along with all the supporting documents in respect of educational qualification and experience at 10.00 AM on the respective/said dates. The Institute reserve the right to appoint in all or any of the above positions based on the requirement of the Institute.

The qualification may be relaxed in exceptional cases at the discretion of competent Authority if sufficient numbers of candidates are not available.

Applications are invited to work as Project Assistant for 1 year in a OU-DST PURSE Research Project on “Proteome analysis of serum and Poly Morpho Nuclear Cells (PMN) in patients at different phases of sepsis” at the Department of Microbiology, UCS, OU, Hyderabad-7.

Position Qualification Fellowship and Duration
Project Assistant M.Sc. in Microbiology /Biochemistry/Genetics with minimum 60 % aggregate. Preference will be given for NET/GATE/APSET qualified candidates Rs. 10,000/- for 1 year duration

Candidates with experience in animal cell culturing, 2D gel electrophoresis, proteomic techniques will be given preference. Interested candidates with the above qualifications can directly submit their application to the Principal Investigator on or before 27th June, 2014 along with a demand draft for Rs. 50/- in favour of Registrar, Osmania University, payable at Hyderabad. 1. Sr. Project Fellow OLP-5104 (LaSEB) – 1 Post
Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech./ M.S or equivalent in Optoelectronics / Lasers / Photonics / Nanotechnology with at least 60% marks.
(Or)
M.Sc in Optoelectronics / Lasers / Photonics/ Nanotechnology with at least 55% marks and one publication in scientific journal and should have completed at least 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience
Knowledge of optics and photonics with some simulation and experimental skills in micro-fabrication/ nanotechnology is highly desirable.

Walk-in Interview on 9th July, 2014 for the Project Titled: Indo-US Science & Technology Forum/SERB- DST project on “Rapid Real time Blood Pressure Measurement and Hypertensive Predisposition Diagnostics using Pulse Transit Time and Blood Pressure Variability”

3. JRF (Indo-US S&T Forum / SERB-DST Project) – 1 Post
Qualification: BE./ B.Tech or equivalent in Bio-medical / Bio-Engineering with at least 70% marks or 7.0 CGPA.

Age: Should not exceed 32 years for post no.1 and 28 years for post 2 & 3 as on date of Interview.
