The candidates with Ph D degree will be preferred. For Industrial & Production Engineering discipline, candidates with basic degree of Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering are also eligible

Salary: Rs.45000/- per month (inclusive of House Rent Allowance) consolidated for Odd Semester (July – December, 2014)

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE (as on 01.06.2014):
> B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Chemical / Production Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution with full time PG Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized University / Regional Labour Institute / Institution recognized under the Factories Act / Rules.
OR
B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution. Candidates with qualifications exclusively in Fire Safety alone shall not be considered.
> Post qualification experience of minimum 9 (nine) years (for E-4 grade); 6 (six) years for E-3 grade; and 3 (Three) years for E-2 is essential. Post qualification experience shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired the said qualification.

SELECTION METHODOLOGY: Selection will be through interview to be held at Visakhapatnam.

Oil India Limited intends to hire Drilling Engineers on contract basis purely for temporary requirement through a walk in interview. The contract would be for about a period of two years, initially for a period of six months, extendable by another three six months term, depending upon requirement and the performance of the individual. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  • The above posts are purely temporary and the incumbents against these posts will be engaged on contract basis initially for a period of six months, extendable further on six monthly basis for a maximum period of 02 years depending upon the requirement and performance. The engagement will not confer any right on the candidate for regularization in OIL.
  • Candidates appearing in the interview should have aptitude for field duty and physical fitness to work in the fields.
  • Candidates appearing for the above positions must have passed the prescribed qualifications from a recognized Institute/University and approved by AICTE/UGC.
