1. Research Associate – 1 Post
(ISRO GBP Aerosol Radiative Forcing over India)
Remuneration: Rs. 22, 000 pm + Rs 1,000/yr for TT/TTT year
Qualification: Ph. D in Physics/Atmospheric Physics
Desirable: Experience of working in the area of aerosols/trace gases and radiative forcing, sufficient working knowledge of aerosol instruments and ability to carry out quality research as evidenced by publications in reputed journals

2. JRF (ISRO GBP ARFI) – 1 Post
Remuneration: Rs 16,000 PM
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics
Desirable: NET/SLET in Physics; specialization in Space Physics/ Atmospheric Physics

3. Project Assistant (ISRO GBP ARFI) – 1 Post
Remuneration: Rs. 10,000 (Fixed)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics

4. Junior Research Fellow – 3 Post
(DST sponsored project “Investigation of the structure and dynamics of the Equatorial Ionization Anomaly along 95°E through a network of GNSS receivers)
Remuneration: Rs 16, 000 pm
Qualification: M. Sc/ M. Tech in Physics; B Tech in Engineering Physics
Desirable: NET/SLET in Physics; specialization in Space Physics/ Atmospheric Physics

Candidates with two years’ experience as JRF in related sponsored project may be placed in the SRF category.

The Associate/fellows will also be eligible to draw HRA and Medical Allowance as per university rules.

Applications are invited to work as Project Assistant for 1 year in a OU-DST PURSE Research Project on “Proteome analysis of serum and Poly Morpho Nuclear Cells (PMN) in patients at different phases of sepsis” at the Department of Microbiology, UCS, OU, Hyderabad-7.

Position Qualification Fellowship and Duration
Project Assistant M.Sc. in Microbiology /Biochemistry/Genetics with minimum 60 % aggregate. Preference will be given for NET/GATE/APSET qualified candidates Rs. 10,000/- for 1 year duration

Candidates with experience in animal cell culturing, 2D gel electrophoresis, proteomic techniques will be given preference. Interested candidates with the above qualifications can directly submit their application to the Principal Investigator on or before 27th June, 2014 along with a demand draft for Rs. 50/- in favour of Registrar, Osmania University, payable at Hyderabad. Candidates should note that the appointment is purely temporary and will not lead to PhD. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
