at CSIR Madras Complex, Chennai for engagement of the following positions as mentioned below for the projects tenable at CSIR-CEERI Centre, (a Regional Centre of Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani), CSIR Madras Complex, Taramani, Chennai – 113.

Walk -in Interview  on  8th July,  2014 for the  Project  Titled:  Phase  II  of  EMPOWER  Project  “Large  scale fabrication of subwavelength nano gratings and Energy and bio-photonics applications (LaSEB)- OLP-5104.

1. Sr. Project Fellow OLP-5104 (LaSEB) – 1 Post
Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech./ M.S or equivalent in Optoelectronics / Lasers / Photonics / Nanotechnology with at least 60% marks.
(Or)
M.Sc in Optoelectronics / Lasers / Photonics/ Nanotechnology with at least 55% marks and one publication in scientific journal and should have completed at least 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience
Knowledge of optics and photonics with some simulation and experimental skills in micro-fabrication/ nanotechnology is highly desirable.

Walk-in Interview on 9th July, 2014 for the Project Titled : Effective Application of Community Health Efforts through New Age, IT based Modes (EACH-IT) under 12th Five Year Plan.

2. JRF (EACH-IT)-BSC0303 – 1 Post
Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering with at least 75%marks or 7.5 CGPA.

Walk-in Interview on 9th July, 2014 for the Project Titled: Indo-US Science & Technology Forum/SERB- DST project on “Rapid Real time Blood Pressure Measurement and Hypertensive Predisposition Diagnostics using Pulse Transit Time and Blood Pressure Variability”

3. JRF (Indo-US S&T Forum / SERB-DST Project) – 1 Post
Qualification: BE./ B.Tech or equivalent in Bio-medical / Bio-Engineering with at least 70% marks or 7.0 CGPA.

Age: Should not exceed 32 years for post no.1 and 28 years for post 2 & 3 as on date of Interview.

Interested candidates may walk-in on the date specified for the positions with an application in the prescribed format appended, along with recent passport size photograph affixed on the application and originals & attested copies of certificates and testimonials in proof of Age, Qualification and Community (for SC/ST/OBC). Candidates who come for interview with incomplete particulars / information will not be entertained.

ELIGIBILITY TEST – 2014 (SECOND TIME)
(For admission into B.A./ B.Com / B.Sc Degree Programs)

The Eligibility Test will be conducted for the SECOND TIME in this academic year at the Regional Coordination Centres of BRAOU in the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

A) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Candidates who do not possess Intermediate (or) its Equivalent Qualification are eligible to appear for the Eligibility Test for seeking admission into 1st year of the B.A. / B.Com / B.Sc (3-year Degree Programme) for the Academic year 2014-15, provided they complete 18 years of age by 1st July 2014.

B) MEDIUM & VENUE OF E.T.: Test will be conducted in ENGLISH. TELUGU & URDU MEDIA at the Regional Coordination Centres (RCCs only) (However, the qualified candidates can take admission at any study centre of his / her choice).

C) HOW TO REGISTER FOR ELIGIBILITY TEST: Candidates who wish to appear for ET shall register “Online” through AP ONLINE FRANCHISE CENTRES by paying Rs. 235/- towards Registration Fee
LAST DATE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION: 11-07-2014
DATE & TIME OF ELIGIBILITY TEST: 20-07-2014 from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM

D) Applicants should collect Hall Tickets at least FOUR days before the Examination Date from the RCC chosen by them. Hall Ticket can also be downloaded from the University website.
