Applications are invited for the following vacant posts to be filled up on Deputation / Direct / Contract basis.

PROFESSORS-06 Posts on Deputation/Direct/Contract Basis (one post each in Amraze- Niswan-Wa-Qabalat (Gen.), Tahffuzi -wa-Samaji-Tib (Gen.), Ilmul Saidla (Gen.), Jarahiyat (OBC.), Ilaj-bid-Tadbir (Gen.) (*)Moalijat (Gen.).
Pay Band: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/- Age: 50 years.
Essential:
1) Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or Statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
2) Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned discipline from a recognized University established by Law or Statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
3) Teaching experience in a recognized Institution for 10 years.
4) Original published papers / books on the subject.

READER -01 Post in Kulliyat (Gen.) on Deputation/Direct.
Pay Band Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs7,600/-
Age: 50 years.
Essential:
1). Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
2). Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned discipline from a recognized University established by Law or statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
3). Teaching experience in a recognized Institution for five years. 4). Original published papers / books on the subject.

LECTURER– 01 Post (SC) in Kulliyat on Direct basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-
Age: 40 years
Essential:
1) Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or Statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
2) Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned discipline from a recognized University established by Law or Statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.

ANESTHETIST-02 Posts On Deputation Basis.
Pay Band: Rs.15,600 – 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- Age: Below 40 years.
Essential: MBBS with M.D in Anaesthesia. Enrolment in the MCI Register. Persons holding analogous posts in the Central Govt./State Govt./Hospitals/ Autonomous Institutions.

RESIDENT MEDICAL OFFICER – 01 POST (Gen.) on Direct/Deputation.
Pay Band: Rs.15,600 – 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- Age: Below 40 years.
Qualification:
Essential:
1) Degree in Unani of a recognized University/Statutory/Faculty/Council/or equivalent and included in the II Schedule of CCIM Act, 1970.
2) MD/MS Unani in Clinical Subjects.
3) Enrolment on the Central Register of CCIM or State Register of ISM.
4) Knowledge of Arabic/Urdu/Persian.

RADIOLOGIST-01 Post. On Deputation Basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- Age: Below 45 years.
Essential: M.D in Radiology with three years experience in the relevant field. Deputation from Medical College, Hospital and other recognized Hospitals. Officers holding analogous post.

STAFF NURSE: 04 POSTS (03 Gen, 01 OBC) on Direct basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- Age – Below 30 years.
Educational qualification:
Essential:
1) Bachelors Degree in Nursing from a recognized University and one year experience preferably in Unani hospital and dispensaries in the field. or
2) Diploma in Nursing with three experience in the field.
3) Registered with Nursing Council of India.
Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi/English.

EEG TECHNICIAN – 01 Post (Gen.) on Direct basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,800/- Age : Below 35 years.
Educational qualification:
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized University with two experience in Laboratory Technology in the relevant field in Laboratory of a recognized Hospital/Institution.

STORE KEEPER/UPPER DIVISION CLERK – 01 POST (Gen.) on Deputation/Direct basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400/- Age : Below 30 years.
Educational qualification:
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Commerce/Arts/Law from a recognized University. Computer course.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi/Urdu.
For deputation: Persons holding analogues posts or eight years regular service in the grade of LDC or equivalent in the pay band of Rs. 5200-20200/- with grade pay of Rs.1900/-.

STENOGRAPHERS – 02 POSTS (02 Gen.) on Direct basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400/- Age : Below 30 years.
Educational qualification:
Essential: Intermediate or equivalent qualification with a speed of 40 wpm in typing and 80 wpm in shorthand and counter course.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi.

ELECTRICIAN: 01 Post (Gen.) on Direct basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400/- Age : Below 30 years.
Educational qualification:
Essential: Two years Diploma in Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification from a recognized State Board or Technical Education.

LDC/CASHIER – 03 Posts (03 Gen.) on Direct Basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- Age : Below 28 years.
Educational qualification:
Essential: Intermediate or equivalent qualification with a speed of 30wpm in English typewriting or 25wpm in Hindi typewriting and proficiency in computers.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi.

Jr. LIBRARY ASSISTANT – 01 Post (Gen.) on Direct basis.
Pay Band: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- Age : Below 28 years.
Educational qualification:
Essential: Certificate in Library Science. Knowledge of Urdu/Hindi/English.

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN INTERVIEW on 05.12.2014 sharp at 10.00 AM at this Institute for the post of Professor (TST) if not available one post of Reader (TST), if not available 02 posts of lecturers (TST) and one post of Physiotherapist purely on contract basis on consolidated remuneration of as detailed below.

  1. Professor Rs.50,000.00 per month.
  2. Reader Rs.40,000.00 per month.
  3. Lecturer Rs.30,000.00 per month.
  4. Physiotherapist Rs.20,000.00 per month.

2) Teaching experience in a recognized Institution for ten years.
3) Original published papers/books on the subject.

Desirable:

  1. Ph.D in Unani. Extensive experience in research.
  2. Atleast five years teaching experienced in a PG institution in the concerned subject.
  3. Original published work in Unani.
  4. Knowledge of Urdu & Hindi/ English.

READER – T.S.T (Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib) – Age below 50 years.

Essential:
1) Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or a statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970. 2) Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned discipline from a recognized University established by Law or Statutory Board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
2) Teaching experience in a recognized Institution for five years.
3) Original published papers/books on the subject.

Desirable:

  • At least five years teaching experience in a PG Institution in the concerned subject.
  • Original published work in Unani.
  • Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi/English.

LECTURER T.S.T (Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib)-02. – Age below 40 years.

Essential: 1) Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or Statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970. 2) Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned discipline from a recognized University established by Law or Statutory Board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.

Desirable: 1. Original published work in Unani. 2. Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi / English.

Note: In case of non availability PG degree in the concerned speciality allied disciplines should be considered.

List of Allied subject: Hifzane Sehat / Ilmul Sumoom.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST – (1) on Contract Basis

Consolidated salary of Rs.20,000/- per month, age below 35 years. Essential: B.Sc (Physiotherapy) from recognized University. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/Hindi/English

Qualification & Experience

Dean / Principal:
a) Recognised post graduate medical qualification and other academic qualification from a recognised institution
b) Minimum of ten years teaching experience as Professor / Associate Professor / Reader in a Medical College / institution. Out of which atleast five years should be as Professor in a department, Preference for these appointments may be given to the HODs.

Professor:
a) Recognized post graduate degree medical qualification in the concerned subject.
b) As Associate Professor in the subject concerned for three years in recognized medical college.
c) Four Research papers accepted/published in index/national journal as first/second author on cumulative basis. Out of these four research publications minimum two research publication must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.

Associate Professor /Reader:
Post graduate degree in the subject with five years teaching / research experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in recognized Medical College. OR
a) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject.
b) Four years teaching experience as a Lecturer/Asst. Prof. in recognised Medical College.
c) Minimum of two research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the journals by the National Associations / Societies of the respective specialities as the First Author. Further provided that the requirement of 2 research publications for promotion to the post of Associate Professor should be fulfilled with 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor

Assistant Professor / Lecturer
a) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject.
b) Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Medical College as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor

Tutor / Demonst:
M.B.B.S. qualification or M. Sc. ( Medical Anatomy ) in particular subject as specified by M.C.I. candidate possessing post graduate qualification in subject will be preferred.
