Qualification:
Essential:
First class Bachelor’s (Honours) Degree in Sciences in relevant subject or equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institute (Technical Assistant).
Or
First class Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record (Technical Assistant / Junior Engineer).
Or
Post-graduate degree in science or B.E. / B.Tech. in relevant field from a recognized University or Institute (Technical Assistant / Junior Engineer).
Or
(i) First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education
or in Fine Arts (performing / visual arts) or Science or Arts from a recognized University or Institution.
(ii) Strong record of participation in college activities including arts (paints, photographs, drama, dance, music), event management, journalism etc.(SAS Assistant)
Desirable:
i) PGDCA or equivalent from a recognized Institution.

Selection Criteria: The candidates are required to appear in the Trade Test. Only those candidates who qualify in the trade test will be eligible to appear in the Interview.

Application are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Research/ Technical Assistant position in DST Project entitled “Unraveling the potential role of Inhibitor of Apoptotic Proteins (IAP) in innate and adaptive immunity against Chlamydia pneumoniae pulmonary infection model system” for the period of one year.

The project is dealing with the perturbation of host Apoptotic pathways during chronic lung infection with Intracellular pathogens like Chlamydia pneumonia. For the detailed information about the project kindly refer to (Prakash et al, 2009 Plos One, Prakash et al, 2010 JBC).

In project we are using several immunological and molecular approaches ( siRNA Knockdown method e.g. ) to unravel the role of IAP proteins in Nitric Oxide and Tumor Necrotic factor parameters in the infected macrophages and epithelium and their co culture model system. We would employ noninvasive in tracheal infection method in animal model system therefore candidate is expected to have some prior experience with Animal handling / cell culture and molecular techniques like western analysis.

Necessary Qualification: M.Sc. Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Biochemistry
Desired Profile: Minimum six months of research experience
Duration: One year

For engagement of Consultant / Technical Assistants under National Mission on Oilseeds and Oil Palm (NMOOP) on contract basis on payment of fixed honorium.

(i)  Four(4) Consultants
Qualifications & Experience: Doctorate degree in Agronomy/Agriculture Extension/Plant Breeding including Agril. Botany with minimum 15 years of field experience in production/improvement of oilseed crops including oil palm under ICAR, SAUs/ Institute/ DAC or retired Officers of DAC with Grade pay of Rs. 8700/- or equivalent for 5 years or more.
Age: Maximum age limit upto 70 years.

(ii)  Five (5) Technical Assistant
Qualifications & Experience: Master degree in Agronomy/Agriculture Extension/Plant Breeding including Agril. Botany or any field of Agriculture or related fields. Proficiency in computer knowledge like MS- Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet etc. Persons with experience of research, extensions and crop development will be given preference.
Age: Maximum age limit upto 70 years.

Consultants/Technical Assistants will be engaged on full time basis, initially for a period of one year extendable on yearly basis for another two years subject to their performance.

Indian Space Research Organisation November 2011 Notification for Technical Assistants and Technicians

  Indian space programme was institutionalized in 1969 with the formation of Indian Space Research Organisation [ISRO]. Indian space programme is aimed at promoting the development and application of space science and technology for the socio-economic benefit of the country and also providing valuable service to the Nation in a self reliant manner.

Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) is the lead Centre in the area of Liquid Propulsion for ISRO’s Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft programmes. Gauhati University Employment Notice For Instructor and Technical Assistant

Gauhati University invting application form the intended eligible candidates for following purely temporary Posts under Gauhati University- NTPC Foundation ICT Training Centre in the Department of Disabilities Studies, GU.

Appointment against these Posts shall be made on Contractual basis for a period of 6 (Six) months only, which may be extended based on performance till the end of the Project. However, the person may also be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof.

1) Instructor (2 Posts):

Essential Qualification:

Post 1: M. Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent

Post 2: M. Sc in any Science discipline with Computer knowledge. The candidates must have good communication skill with personality strength.

Experience: Preferably 1 year experience in academic sector.

Duties & Responsibilities: The instructor appointed against the Post 1 will have to teach the Computer Courses and Post 2 will have to teach science courses to the differently able (disable) students

2) Technical Assistant (2 Posts):

Essential Qualification: Graduation in any stream with special education. Candidates must have good communication skill with the knowledge of Braille and Sign language.

Experience: Preferably 1 year working experience in the field of Disability.
