Applications are invited from eligible Candidates for recruitment to fill up (05) Five posts in PB-1 Grade Rs. 5200-20200+G.P. 1800 (NPS) erstwhile Group ‘D’ through the process of Open Advertisement, against Sports quota on Ambala Division for the year 2015-16 on the prescribed application form as given. Candidates who possess the requisite standard in the discipline of the under noted sports events are only eligible to apply. Application duly completed in all respect should be Addressed to Divisional Personnel Officer and sent to the office of Divisional Railway Manager, Northern Railway, Ambala Cantt. (Harvana) through ordinary Dak or may be dropped in Box provided in Sports Cell. DRM Office. Ambala Cantt. latest by 31.07.2015 during 10.00 hrs.to18.00hrs. on working days. Applications received after the closing date, i.e., last date 31.07.2015 will not be accepted and it will be treated as receipt late than the last date of receipt of application. It should specifically be mentioned through Red Ink on the envelope of applications in BOLD LETTERS (Application for Recruitment through the process of Open Advertisement against Sports Quota on Ambala Division forthe year 2015-16. Applicants must have to fulfill the following eligibility conditions.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
Essential
A. Represented the country in Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category).
OR
B. Represented the country in Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category).
OR
C. Represented the country in South Asian Federation(SAF) Games (Senior Category)
OR
D. Represented the country in USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).
OR
E. At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
OR
F. Represented a State of equivalent unit except in Marathon and Cross Country in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships.
OR
G. At least 3rd Position in Senior State Championship for all units and Districts of the State.

Detail of Posts to be filled through the process of Open Advertisement Quota is as under:
1. Hockey (Women) – 01 (One) – 01 (One)All Rounded Sportsperson having at least 2nd position in the International Tournaments of four or more nations may also be considered. Sportspersons who participated in these tournaments may be considered.
2. Atheletics (Male) – 03 (Three) – 01 (One) Short Put; 01 (One) 1500 Meters (Fifteen Hundred Meters); 01 (One) 5000 Meters (Five Thousand Meters)
3. Weightlifting(Male)- 01 (One) – Weight category 69 Kg.

Educational Qualifications: 10th Passed from Recognised School/ Board/Institution.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2015. Candidates should not below 18 years and should not above 25 years on 01.07.2015. No relaxation in Lower or Upper Age limit is permissible in the recruitment.

Period of Sports Achievements/Certificates to be considered: For Recruitment against sports quota recognised sports achievements should be in the current and/or immediate previous two financial years in the case of Open Advertisements Quota and Sports person should be active player. Certificates prior 01.04.2013 will not be considered.

Examination Fees: For General & OBC candidates Rs. 100/- (One Hundred Only) by Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favour of Sr. DFM. N.RIy., Ambala payable at Ambala. For SC/ST Candidates Rs. 30/- (Rs. Thirty only) by Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favour of Sr. DFM. N.RIy., Ambala payable at Ambala. Examination fees is not refundable under any circumstances including time barred/rejected applications. IPO obtained earlier than the date of issue and later than closing date of the Employement Notice will not be accepted. In­complete & application received after 31.07.2015 will not be considered.

Eligibility: Passed MDS in the concerned speciality, from a recognized University.

Fee Payble: Rs.1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PH. The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director Principal, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi, Payable at Delhi.

Mode of Selection: The selection will be made through written test followed by interview of shortlisted candidates i.e. three times the number of vacancies. The written test (MCQs) would consist of two parts. Part-I (General Dentistry) [50 questions] and Part-II (Speciality), [50 questions]. Duration of examination: Part-I, 50 Minutes & Part-II, 50 Minutes, with a break of 10 Minutes. There will be negative marking. One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Only qualified candidates will be shortlisted for interview. (Qualifying Marks for written test for Gen-50%, OBC-45%, SC/ST-40%). However, the maximum number of qualified candidates in written test which shall be called for interview shall not be more than 3 times the number of vacancies. Only those candidates shall be selected, who qualify separately in the written test as well as in the Interview.

The decision of the selection committee would be final in this regard.

Maximum Age Limit: 40 years. Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST candidates as per rule.

Note: OBC certificate issued from other than GNCT of Delhi will be considered under General category. General Candidates are not eligible to apply against Reserve category post.

Results of State Eligibility Test (SET) – TS & AP – 2014 Exam

Osmania_UniversityToday, Osmania University released the results of State Eligibility Test (SET) for Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh (SET-TS & AP – 2014) for Assistant Professor/Lectureship held on 15th February, 2015 subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions. The results of SET-TS & AP -2014 have been finalized as per the guidelines of UGC, New Delhi and these results were scrutinized and approved by the Moderation Committee and Steering Committee of SET -TS & AP – 2014.

PROCEDURE AND CRITERIA FOR THE DECLARATION OF RESULT

The Moderation and Steering Committees of SET – TS & AP-2014 have carefully gone through the procedure and criteria set by the UGC, New Delhi for the finalization of result as follows;

Step-I: Minimum marks to be obtained in SET-TS & AP-2014 for considering a candidate for the eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lectureship:

The candidates are required to obtain following minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper- II and Paper-III as given below:

Step-II: Amongst those candidates who have cleared Step-I, a merit list was prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.

Step-III: Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under Step-II, was declared SET – TS & AP-2014 qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lectureship only. By this method, if the number obtained is less than one, it is taken as at least one, i.e. a minimum of one candidate is qualified wherever a fraction less than one is obtained as per this methodology. However, for fractions greater than one, the figure is rounded off to nearest whole number.
