Telangana DSC Hall Tickets available on website – 2024

Entrance Exams

DSC hall tickets are now made available on the Telangana DSC website and can be downloaded. EV Narsimha Reddy, Secretary of the School Education Department, said that it was posted on the website on Thursday night. These exams are being conducted online from 18th of this month to 5th of August. People can download from https://tsdsc.aptonline.in/tsdsc/Hallticket. A total of 2.79 lakh applications have
been made for 11,062 teacher posts across the state of Telangana. Education department sources said that this is the second DSC to be conducted in the state after July 2017
after seven years.

6. Desirable Qualification • Proficient understanding of Dewey Decimal Classification.
• Familiarity with cataloguing standards such as AACR2 and RDA.
• Knowledge of MARC21 standards for bibliographic records.
• Hands-on experience with library software, including all modules of KOHA.
• Competence in managing digital repositories using DSpace.
• Proficiency in library circulation systems.
• Familiarity with off-campus access tools for remote library services.
• Experience in managing library e-books, e-journals, and e-databases effectively.

General Conditions:

  • This assignment is purely on contract basis and does not envisage any kind of regular appointment in NIRDPR in future.
  • The Institute may hold the right to cancel the recruitment process due to lack of eligible applicants/administrative reasons.
  • The candidate should produce the experience certificate in proper format during verification. It must have details of the employer, duration of employment (including date of joining & relieving, and breaks if any), the position/s held, nature of appointment (regular/contractual/part-time/internship), name, designation and seal of issuing authority, and any other relevant information. No other documents, such as Offer letters, pay slips, contract extension letters, etc., will be treated as experience letter.
  • Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the minimum essential qualification laid down in the advertisement. Experience in the relevant field, i.e. Dewey Decimal Classification, Cataloguing using AACR2 and RDA standards, and MARC21 standards, and Library Management software (KOHA) will only be considered. The Institute has a right to shortlist the candidates as may be necessary
  • Age, experience and qualification will be reckoned as on the date of this notification.
  • Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
  • No correspondence or telephonic enquiry will be entertained as regards shortlisting, calling for interview, selection or engagement.
  • The Institute reserves the right to relax any of the requirements i.e. age, experience etc. in exceptional cases.
  • The candidates are supposed to bring their pass port size photo along with a copy of their resume, one copy of educational and experience certificates for submission.
  • The candidates are also requested to bring their original educational and experience certificates for verification at the time of interview.
  • The Walk-in Interview will be held on 19.07.2024 and the candidates are supposed to report by 10:00 am at Vikas Auditorium, NIRDPR, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. Certificate verification will be completed by 11.30 am. Written test/ Interview shall be conducted on the same day.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Candidates may download the application form from our website spav.ac.in .
  • The pay and allowances for the posts advertised will be as per the 7th CPC scales applicable to Central Government employees and carry other allowances like House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and Children’s Educational Allowance and eligible for other benefits like Medical, LTC etc., as per Govt of India Rules issued from time to time and as applicable for SPA, Vijayawada.
  • These positions are governed   by New Pension Scheme of GoI applicable w.e.f.01.01.2004.
  • The Faculty selected for the above posts will be governed by the CCS Conduct Rules, CCS CCA Rules, other Rules and Regulations issued by the GoI from time to time and as per the SPA Act 2014 and SPA Statutes 2016.
  • The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the No. of posts or not to make any recruitment to any post/s, to shortlist candidates for interview and to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
  • The prescribed essential qualifications / experience indicated are bare minimum and mere possession of the same will not entitle the candidates to be called for written test / interview. When number of applications received towards an advertisement is large, the Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for written test / interview on the basis of merit or qualification higher than that of minimum prescribed in the advertisement or by conducting test. The candidates should therefore furnish details of all qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed along with documentary evidences.
  • The qualifications prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities/ Institutions. UG and PG qualifications obtained from foreign degrees must be supported with foreign degree Equivalence Certificate from All India Universities, Min of Education, Govt. of India. The decision of the Committee constituted by SPAV for equivalence of Ph.D. shall be final.
  • Reservation for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwD/EWS etc., will be as per Govt. of India norms against the reserved vacancies only. The benefit shall be given on submission of relevant certificates in the format prescribed by Govt. of India. Incomplete application in the particular category will not be considered.

The candidates who are in the Central list of OBC -Creamy layer shall only apply for the post reserved for OBC. If at any stage, it is found that the OBC certificate is not valid, the appointment shall be terminated with immediate effect.

  • Persons serving in Govt./Semi-government / PSU / Autonomous bodies / Govt. funded Institutions / Universities are required to upload “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer. They are required to produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview, without which his/her candidature will not be considered.
  • No TA & Accommodation will be provided for attending the written test and interviews.
  • No interim queries / correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence, political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
  • Self-Attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials etc., are to be uploaded alongwith the application w.r.t their age, experience and educational qualifications. Incomplete applications and not accompanied by supporting certificates / documents along with payment receipt/ after the last date will be summarily rejected. The original documents will be verified at the time of Interview/written examination.
  • Candidates applying for the positions, in the Dept. of Architecture should be registered with Council of Architecture and produce a copy of the certificate with validity.
  • Candidates applying for more than one post are required to submit the application alongwith supporting documents and make remittance fee separately each time.
  • The qualification and experience will be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of application as given in the advertisement.
    • Application fee Rs.1,000/­-
    • SC/ST/PwD/Women are exempted from payment of application fee.
    • Application fee needs to be paid online through SBI collect; (https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm). The reference number should be filled in the application form along with the copy of the receipt.

In case the candidates are not in a position to make fee payment through online mode they may submit a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada” payable at Vijayawada.
