Applications in the prescribed format are invited to prepare a panel of eligible candidates for consideration for appointment under the Board for the following posts during the next 3 year period with effect from the date of publication of the Rank List. The vacancies in respect of different posts as per the existing estimation are as shown against each post. But the additional vacancies likely to arise during the above period will also be filled in from this panel subject to reservation rules.
1. Scientific Assistant (Engineering) – One Post -(UR), In the Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 + 4200 (Grade Pay) Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: First or Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR First or Second Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience in running or maintenance of textile processing or machinery or equipment.
2. Assistant – Five Posts (UR-4 & OBC-1), In the Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 + 4200 (Grade Pay) Age: Not exceeding 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: First or Second Class Graduate.
3. Junior Stenographer – Seven Posts (UR) – (One post Reserved for PH (Locomotive Disability or Cerebral Palsy) and 2 posts Reserved for Ex-Servicemen) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 2400 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: SSLC or equivalent with 100 words per minute in Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typewriting.
4. Junior Auditor – One Post (UR), (Reserved for Ex-Servicemen only) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 2400 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: A Degree from a recognized University with two years experience in the accounts branch of a public or private sector under taking.
5. Lower Division Clerk – Two Posts (UR) (Reserved for Ex-Servicemen only) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 25 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: SSLC or equivalent. 30 w.p.m. in typewriting essential.
6. Hindi Typist – Two Posts -(UR) (One post Reserved for PH (Hearing impairment) candidate) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of
receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: SSLC or equivalent examination with typewriting in Hindi.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi Stenography.
7. Training Assistant – Six Posts- (UR-5 & SC-1), In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: SSLC or equivalent. A pass in the Advanced Training Course conducted by the National Coir Training and Design Centre.
8. Machine Operator – Three Posts-(UR), (One post Reserved for Ex-Servicemen) In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date of receipt of
application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: ITI certificate (Electrician or Fitter)
9. Helper (Dyeing) – One post -(UR), In the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + 1800 (Grade Pay): Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: “A pass in the Training Course of not less than six months duration conducted by the National Coir Training and Design Centre, with three years experience in dyeing”.

• Application Fee: The application fee for the Post at Sl.No.l & 2 will be Rs.100/- and Sl.No.3 to 9 will be Rs.50/-. No fee is payable by SC, ST, PwD, Ex-servicemen and female candidates. The fee is to be remitted in the form of Demand Draft only drawn on any Bank, payable at Ernakulam in favour of Secretary, Coir Board, Kochi.
• Mode of selection: The selection will be on the basis of a Written Examination and Interview. The selected candidates will be posted suitably and they are liable to be transferred to anywhere in India where the Board’s Offices exist.
• Complete applications in the prescribed format with self attested copies of testimonials in proof of age, qualifications, experience etc. should reach the Secretary, Coir Board, Coir House, PB.No.1752, M.G.Road, Kochi-16 on or before the prescribed closing date i.e., 07.08.2014 (For those candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Prradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Island and Lakshadweep, the closing date will be 14.08.2014). DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE CADRE OF POSTMAN/MAIL GUARD

Applications are invited from the desirous & eligible Applicants to fill up the posts of Postman and Mail Guard in the following Postal Divisions / Units in Andhra Pradesh Circle in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- + admissible allowances in accordance with Postman Recruitment Rules 2010 / Mail Guard Recruitment Rules 2010 notified vide GOI Gazette order No.682 dated 20/12-2010 and subsequent amendment issued vide No.311 dated 28/6-2012 to Postman Recruitment Rules.

Educational Qualification:–
i) For Postman: Matriculation/SSC from a recognized Board or University.
ii) For Mail Guard: Matriculation/SSC from a recognized Board or University.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000 + admissible allowance. No TA/DA is admissible.

Age Limit: 18-27 years as on 18.08.2014 (Upper age limit relaxable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes up to five years and for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes up to three years & others in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time). Age relaxation for PH Persons and Ex Servicemen would be as per extant orders of Govt. of India issued from time to time.

Date of Examination: The date of examination is tentatively fixed as 24.10.2014 from 10:00 to 12:00 hours.

Indian Space Research Organisation [ISRO] of the Department of Space [DOS] is looking for young, dynamic and dedicated candidates for filling-up the posts of ASSISTANTS (administrative support staff) in the Pay Band of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2,400/- for filling-up in various ISRO Centres/Units, across India.

How to Apply : The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 17-07-2014 and 07-08-2014. Candidates may visit our web-site at www.isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line between 17-07-2014 and 07-08-2014. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. The written test will be conducted on 12-10-2014 [Sunday] at seven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
